I have a front load Maytag washer (MAH9700) - the spin cycle spins, just not fast enough. When the washer is done there is still a lot of water left in the clothes. Any ideas?
The shaft was designed to rotate into 2 directions: one for agitation, one for spinning. The spinning direction is controlled by a mechanism from the clutch engagement. When your plastic pulley wears out, it effects the mechanism to spin. The driving force for spinning is slipped, therefore the spin is weak As a matter of fact, the water remaining in clothes n in turn discharges to the bottom tube
