I have been looking at all 4k tvs for 3 months, gut feeling that in store is not the best place to evaluate and found an owner that would let me look at his in his home. WOW! I was so impressed I bought mine that day and been having friends just stop by to view the picture. There is no comparison with the Samsung 4k.

SOURCE: taken delivery of 40" samsung

Make sure you have it set to wireless off in the menu or it will not recognise the ethernet port on the back even if it is flashing. Most tvs with browsers come with the wirless function set to on. Also if it has search for internet signal you could try this to get it to rec. as well.

It has a feature called 'Ambient Mode'. You would better off having the Weather Network App on the television and on your Smart Phone and set it for Notifications. The App is free.

My tv is an LG 55inch smart 4k I am unable to turn the volume down

first try adjusting the volume from the tv not using the remote

if it still does not change you most likely need a new main board if you would have told us which model number the TV is we could have directed you to the exact main board u might need

Setting up samsung 4k smart tv and asking who my service provider is for a richer and better brodcasting service. are they asking for internet or cable?

Sounds like they are asking for your cable provider. I also have a Samsung 4K smart Tv. They asked for my cable provider and I later had to set up my internet provider so I could access hulu, netflix, and amazon prime.
