You might want to install a program called CCleaner. Very good with removing programs. If that doesn't appear, there might be a way of removing it from the registry. Use this microsoft article How to manually remove programs from the Add or Remove Programs tool

Before performing the steps make sure you have the Installer or Setup file of the Player.

Uninstall the player from Control panel-->>Add or Remove Programs, restart the PC and then again install the player

1. Uninstall or disable all Internet-sharing applications, proxy software and security software such as anti-virus programs or firewalls. Although every program is different, if you choose to uninstall one, you can typically do so by clicking "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add/Remove Software" and then selecting the software you wish to remove. Because Homeportal 1000 comes with its own versions of these programs, this step is essential to avoid conflicts.

2. Connect Homeportal's AC power adapter to the back of your router, and then plug it into a power outlet. The green power light should come on.

3. Connect the router to your computer. If you're using Ethernet, connect the Ethernet cable to both the router and the Ethernet jack on the back of your computer. If you plan to use USB, follow the same procedure using the USB cable and ports, instead. For a wireless connection, ensure that your wireless card is correctly installed on your PC.

4. Connect the phone cable to the back of your router and then plug it into a phone jack. This will allow the Homeportal 1000 to receive DSL signals from the phone company.

5. Place the Homeportal 1000 installation CD into your CD drive and follow the on-screen instructions to install the necessary software and until finish installation.

We are now ready to browse a website.

If you are using windows xp then you need to access the Add/Remove programs list. You do this by clicking on your start button and then going to Control panel and then selecting Add/Remove programs and Live PC Care should be located somewhere in that list. You then have the option to unistall it.

If you are using windows vista it's the same thing although it isn't called Add/Remove programs, it's called Programs and Features. This will also bring up the programs you have installed and you can then proceed to remove Live PC care. Good luck. Andrew

ActiveSync’s Tools >Add/Remove Programs screen lists all the programs that have been installed on your device. To uninstall a program, uncheck the box next to it and click on OK. To reinstall a program, click on the empty box next to it and click on OK. Do not click on the Remove button. Reinstalling programs you’ve uninstalled Once you’ve installed a program using ActiveSync, the necessary installation files are saved on your PC. If you uninstall the program as described above, you can use the Add/Remove Programs menu to reinstall it at a later time. Uninstalled programs appear in the Add/Remove Programs list as items with unchecked boxes. To reinstall it, click on the check box next to it and hit OK. ActiveSync will reinstall the program automatically. Note that files in CAB format can be downloaded directly to a device and installed, so they will not appear in the Add/Remove Programs list. In addition, some freeware programs are installed by using ActiveSync’s Explorer to copy the program file to your device. Those also do not appear in the Add/Remove list. WARNING: Do not click on the “Remove” button at the bottom of the Add/Remove Programs screen unless you never again plan on using the program. This completely removes the necessary installation files from your PC and you won’t be able to reinstall the program by checking the box.

Not sure if you are using the Add printer in Windows to install printer software or letting the CD autorun and self-install.

Best thing might be to start clean. That is, delete the printer icon from the printer list (Printers and Faxes screen). Then go to Control panel Add/ Remove programs and remove all applications relating the HP all-in-one. Disconnect the Printer cable (USB or LAN) and then re-intall CD setup.

Follow the prompts and connect the printer back when asked. Wait until the full install is complete.

Using the Uninstall program from the Start menu If the program you wish to uninstall is not listed among the installed programs, an uninstall program for that item might be available on the Start menu. To look for such an option:

1. From the Start menu, select Programs or All Programs.
   
   
2. Find the folder for the program you wish to uninstall and highlight it.
   
   
3. In many cases, on the menu that appears, you will see an uninstall option.

Go to Start button, then Control Panel. Or Start Button, Help and Support, then Windows Basics, then Core Windows tasks, then working with programs, then Add a program to your computer, then Add or Remove Programs.

Download tweak XP from the net, install it, run it, there is a tab named ADD/REMOVE programs, it DOES NOT add or remove programs, rather, it allows you to edit the Add/Remove program List only, so you should select the "blanks" and remove the from the list. ReClarify: IF you remove an entry from the Add/Remove tab using Tweak XP, It will no longer be available under windows control panel add/remove and if it IS still installed you will NOT have a way to remove the program.
