Tx-p42x50b will not turn on after power cut

The stand is held on by four screws. Lay the tv face down on a flat surface. Cover the surface with a blanket first. Use a regular phillips screw driver. (If you have a users manual see page 7)
The screws are the set just above the stand on the back of the set. The stand will then slide out.

The fuse is internal nearest the point of where the 120VAC contacts the power supply. The fuse will be brand specific BUT will be a slow-blow ceramic (white). Replace with only the exact same rating of fuse to avoid fires within the tv.

Sir try to check the fuse in the power supply may be damage. Remove the back cover of your unit but be sure to unplug the unit from the main ac outlet. Then look for the fuse, if the fuse is defective, before replacing it observe if the fuse is totally burned if you see this sign don't just replace the fuse it indicates that it has a shorted parts in the power supply common parts are the regulator and bridge type rectifier, but if the fuse is just broken or still you can see the wire you can replace it and try to check if the unit will power up.
