I have an old Logitech headset that I just ''plugged and played'' in both of my computers (a desktop and a laptop). It worked perfectly. I bought a newer version Logitech's ''ClearChatComfort USB'' head set. It broadcasts fine, everyone can hear me, but I can not hear anything through the earphones. I'm positive I have my computer settings set correctly and the volume is turned up high (I think---but can't confirm as the volume switch doesn't seem to work). I have no idea what else I can do other than return it as defective (which I hope I don't have to do). Do you have any magical thing I can try??? HELPPPPP!!!!

Try it in another pc, you will see (or more precisely not hear) the most likely fact that the headphone's cable has quit. Buy a new pair.

I've had this happen twice with Logitech headsets and believe it has to do with the cheap/fine wire they use in the cables. I suspect that a good tug on the cable will snap the wire or some other internal connection.
