Do you live in an area with hard water? Here's a link to a map of the US. If you live in a red, orange, or yellow area, you probably have hard water. You can replace some of your detergent with a small amount of water softner.

SOURCE: Brand new beko DE 2542 PW dishwasher won't start wash cycle

Hello,
It sounds as if the d/washer is pressurising due to a blocked outlet drain hose.

Make sure that the drain for the dishwasher is actually clear take hose out of the drain outlet. On some of the Beko dishwashers they put a plug up inside the drain hose which has to be removed before use or if it is a new installation and it is draining into a "U" bend on a sink check that the little spigot that the hose is onto is actually open. They come from the plumbers merchants blanked if blanked then you have to cut the end off to suit size of hose.I hope this has helped.

Good Luck.

Dishwasher salt beko

Rinse aid and salt are not necessary if you use powder that is similar to the tablets. The lights are warning you that you havent added them, you know that so ignore the lights. If you live in a hard-water (limescale) area salt can be used as well as tablets or powder to make the water kinder to the machine, but most people just use tablets without rinse-aid or salt.

My beko dishwasher is not rinsing properly, we add rinse aid and salt and the pots still come out with **** on then and are not being cleaned properly even on the hottest wash

Try running a dishwasher cleaner through it, it will break down any built up residue in the machine, with using salt to soften the water it can build up in places and reduce water flow.

I have a kitchen aid dishwasher that is not dispursing the water enough to clean. I have cleaned the entire unit with commercial cleaners and have added vinegar to the washer without dishes. And still it...

You need to remove the wash arms by turning the nut in the centre of the arm and remove, then unblock the holes that are in the arms and replace them, test if the arms now turn and you can see a differance then also check there is salt in the salt dispensor located at the bottom of the machine.
