I have a polaroid camera and now instead of turning on it beeps.

I have a polaroid model i531camera, and a few months ago I tried to turn it on but instead it turned on, beeped once and turned off. I tried changing the bateries even though it didn't beep like it does when the bateries are low. I have no idea whats wrong with it and it continues to beep, turn on, and turn off when I try to turn it on. I lost the instruction manual and would also like to know where to get a new one.Help!

There is a problem with the camera's firmware. It is very common with the digital cameras. You can get one from ebay, overstock.com, amazon.com, and many other reasonable websites.

Polaroid i735 Camera won't turn on. Lens stuck.

I had the same problem, and fixed it by wiggling the lens a little, when turning it on.
After a few tries, it finally wiggled free, and the lens retracted.

Polaroid i834 turns off imediately after turning turning on.

I had the same problem until just a while ago, when I realized that the lens was tweaked. It was stuck. So I turned the camera on and gave the inside part a yank before it turned off again. It took me a couple of tries but eventually the lens corrected itself and now my camera works fine. If you do it a couple of times and then start to hear three rapid beeps (sounds like 'be-du-dum') before the other three beeps (beep... beep... beep) then your getting somewhere. Hope this helps.

Just to verify does it also beep six times? This model has the actual pushbuttons. Press all buttons lightly and see if any release. Disengage button.

Beep

The Polaroid Fun! Digital 320 camera is programmed to shut off automatically after a few minutes if it is not being used. This helps to conserve battery power. When the camera shuts itself off, it will make a continual beeping sound. To use the camera after it has shut off, simply push the shutter button or self-timer button to take a picture. If you are not going to use your camera, turn the power switch to OFF. The camera will also beep in rapid sequence after you press the self-timer button. The camera will continue to beep in faster sequence until a picture is taken (approximately 10 seconds). A final long beep signals that a picture has been taken. NOTE: It is normal for the camera to beep while downloading photos to a computer.
