Making pcture wider

with the remote press the the menu and on the screen move around until you find aspect ratio This makes the picture wider higher or fatter
Select the size that fits your screen, press save then exit.

You can adjust aspect ratio to picture, without its remote control.

Most likely a problem with the upper y-drive board.

You can play with the Display settings and see what suits you. Try 1280 x 768
- How ever you can buy a Wide LCD Monitor. This will surely make picture display better

Could you please give me more detail as to what you mean by make it wider. Is the picture currently using the width of the projected image? Have you used this projector before? Once I have more information I can assist you further.

Look for button on the remote that reads, pic size, aspect or zoom. Press it until desired picture size is achieved.

Are you using a cable box? Do you have aspect settings on your remote? Comcast cable boxes have a hd zoom button. This will push the sides of the picture out

How much wider are we talking about? It is normal for all TV's to be a bit overscanned anyway.
