I have a 14 foot 1973 starcraft fishing and ski

Question edited for maker name MirroCraft not 'Mirror'.

Ask them about the model. If it wasn't a 14 foot boat, I would have said the H14 was 2014, and then I remembered mine starts SS15- and the HIN.

However, this question has obviously been asked many times before. The 'H' code is 1968.

How can I determine the model year of my MirroCraft boat?
This all depends upon the age of the boat, but after 1973 your MirroCraft serial number will start off with "MRR" and the last 2 digits of the serial number will be the year. For example, MRR00000H399 would mean your boat is a 1999 model. The picture below is an example of a 2014 serial numbered boat.

Also here is a reference for boats made earlier then 1973, serial number starts with:
A=1961
B=1962
C=1963
D=1964
E=1965
F-1966
G=1967
H=1968
I=1969
1970, 1971, 1972 are very hard to determine.

soak it in gas for a while. put too much in its intake an let it set. or poor some in sparkplug hole. an close for 24 hrs lets it break loose.
then make sure gas flows evenly when pumping. use a clear filter for this

Many things you could check.

Engine to small for the boat.

Not enough fuel deliver when in full throttle.

Gas pump.

Engines compression test.

I would not run the ski again without looking inside the motor.You don't say if it's a 2 or 4 stroke motor or what brand of ski.Come back with some more info and I hope I can help you

Check ur local library.

If you find the hull identification number which is always stamped on the right side of the transom then the last two numbers indicate a year. Ex. BUJ5C45208 Would be a 2008.
