Is it a really fast blink on the power light? If so, you might be looking at the wrong item. The fast blink means that the mainboard has an issue.

Like I've said sever other times on this board, there's an NPN transistor that is usually the culprit. Just yank it and replace it with a Radio Shack NPN and you should be in business (maybe bump it up a touch so that you don't have the same problem again).

SOURCE: I have a monitor MAG LT782s. Backlight works, but

HI There,

The easiest way to troubleshoot this one is to borrow another monitor that you know is displaying properly on another computer and connect it. If you're still not getting video then it's almost certain your video card has failed.

Marcus

SOURCE: Mag monitor lt782s - green light on screen black

This means that the power supply board has a problem. The problem is that the part of the circuit that controls the backlight has failed. This is usually caused by capacitors that have gone bad or transistors that have shorted.

Where can we buy a circuit board for this monitor?

Why do you need to buy a circuit board ? Did you try replacing the Capacitors? replacement circuit boards cost almost the same as the price of new monitor.

Screen had multi-color vertical lines, then went black

the monitor has power board issues it is not your video card. its not dead but it will require some soldering work to repair.

I think it's busted

you need to open the case and check the capacitors and if they seem doomed or color is leaking then replace the bad ones that should stabilize the power to the vertical ic chip
