My H500 headset works or not?

I plug it on my laptop and the blue light turns on, but then after a couple of seconds it turns back off and it won't turn back on again unless i plug it off and on. Any thoughts?

May mean it is fully charged. Try long pressing big button until steady blue. Then have phone search.

Is your experience charging via wall charger different?

SOURCE: Can't connecto to headset again...

You are not alone in this endeavor. A lot of people have this problem. So, here is what I suggest. 1. Make sure both the headset and the phone are fully charged. 2. Delete the "device" from your phone. I mean precisely that. Go into you cell phone's bluetooth settings and erase your "HS850" from it. 3. Try re-pairing it. Put the phone and the headset in pairing mode and allow it to sync. This should do it. I always works for me. You usually only need to pair once and every time you use the headset all you should have to do is connect it. I hope this works for you. Good Luck.

SOURCE: H500 won't pair with Blackberry Curve

It might already have been figured out but if you hold the answer button on the headset down until the light stays on steady, it is in pairing mode. You can then go to bluetooth setup on the Curve and it will find the headset.

SOURCE: I have a H270 Bluetooth headset. I charged it

I had the same problem. I plugged a USB charger into the headset and turned the power switch off. It worked as normal after that. I think it does not like to be "on" when the USB is disconnected. Anyway it seems the plugging/unplugging kick-started it.

Motorolla h500 no steady blue light

Starting with your headset turned off, press and hold the call button for some 6 to 10 seconds, until the indicator light is steadily lit (it will flash some times as if it was being turned on, but don't release the button at that phase). With the light steadily lit It is in pairing mode. Now make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the H500 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, the indicator light will flash rapidly, and then, it will enter the stand-by mode. Otherwise, turn your headset off, and go through the whole process again.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Regards, Carlos

I charged for 2 hours and when I hold for 11

Make sure the wall socket you plugged in is working. You may need to turn on a light switch, etc. The light should come on when you plug it in and go off when it's done charging. Try charging longer. Leave it plugged in overnight and try again.

I want to pair the motorola H500 to my blackberry pearl. i cannot get the bluetooth in pairing mode?

-Be sure the headset is fully charged.(plug it in till the light turns off.)
-Hold the talk button down for 4 seconds or until the blue light goes solid (not blinking.)

Now the device should be ready to pair with your Blackberry. It usually only stays in pairing mode for a short while (approximately 90seconds)

Turn the bluetooth off and go into the phone to search for devices, then turn the bluetooth on holding onto the on button until the blinking blue light turns solid for a couple of second then let go. The device should come up on the blackberry as Motorola H500, pair it and enter passcode 0000. Goodluck

Cannot synch h500 to new blackberry 7130

Don't forget to start with your headset off...then turn it on, but HOLD the on/off button down until the flashing blue light turns to solid blue light. This gets it into "sync" mode. The password is 0000 but it does not always work the first time. Don't give up! Try it again if it fails with the first try! Good luck!

How do i connect H500 to my phone

than click on the H500 Bluetooth.
It will walk you through step by step its pretty easy..

Or, you can do it easier.
- Press and hold the Power/Call buttom for 6-10 seconds, until there is a steady blue light
- when there is a steady blue light, go to your phone's Menu, then click on Bluetooth, than Handsfree, It will then start locating your bluetooth. In about 3-5 seconds it will pop up as H500.
-Connect to H500, or push Yes to Connect. (which ever way your phone tells you)
-It will then ask for a password. ALL PASSWORDS ARE THE SAME;AND CANNOT BE CHANGED.
- YOUR PASSWORD IS 0000. typle that in.

Congratulations! Your Now Connected.!

Good luck guys.

Won't charge

Hold the call button for at least 10 seconds, if you get no joy, see if you can take the battery out and put it back in. Failing that, yes it would seem likely that it's defective out the box. If you bought it from a local retail store, take it back describing the defection and I'm sure they'll try to get it working themselves for you, failing that - they'll give you an option for a replacement or your money back.

Pairing motorola H500 bluetooth w/ nokia 6102i

you need to press and hold the on button on the headset, until the blue light stays on, then it will be in pairing mode. As soon as the headset is paired the blue light will go off and flash periodically. To turn off the headset press and hold button for about 3 seconds, it will flash 3 times then let go and it will turn off.
