Is there a good flow from the small feeder tube going into the center tube the flapper mounts to? It is possible your flush assembly has mineral deposits, rust, calcium, etc. build up and is not allowing sufficient flow through that tube to rinse the sides of the bowl. You could also Try dumping undiluted C L R (calcium, lime, rust) cleaner into that tube and allowing it to clear the passages. If the passages are blocked you will notice the water flooding back out of that central tube in the tank and may be able to use a small inspection mirror and a piece of baling wire to clear the exit ports around the rim of the bowl. You may also be able to clean the entire flush assembly by removing the water line from the bottom of the tank then removing the flush assembly and soaking it in C L R for a half hour - or, just replace the entire assembly. I hope this helps!!

SOURCE: my jacuzzi toilet doesnt fill with enought water

Hi, W/D here.
Check the water level in the tank. The force to flush waste comes from there. Normally the fill line is cast into the back of the tank, but sometimes it is on the overflow tube. Raise the level if it is low.
Also, make sure that the tubing from the fill valve is connected to the over flow tube (the tall tube).
Best regards, --W/D--

SOURCE: When I flush the toilet,

Attached to the Flushvalve is a rubber stopper commonly called a flapper. If the flapper is worn this would cause the problem. Also sometimes the chain that attaches the flapper to the handle gets caught and the flapper sdoes not seat right. Check this, if it is clear and not obstructed try repalcing the flapper.

The handle fell off on the toilet and won't stay on. Is their an insert that my room mate lost.

You need to replace the handle. Most single-flush toilets have a handle that covers a plastic piece that includes a stem that goes through the bowl. The stem is functions as a bolt held by a plastic nut on the inside of the bowl. When the handle falls off, that stem has broken. If the bowl lid is accessible, you can remove the lid and use the chain to flush the toilet. Dual flush toilets also have a plastic stem or tube that goes through the bowl.

Depending on your toilet, a universal toilet lever replacement may work. These are available at most hardware stores for under $10. For some brands, you may need a brand-specific lever. In a few cases, the part may not be available at hardware centers but is available through plumbing suppliers, plumbers or the manufacturer.

I hope this helps.

(Note: the nut inside the toilet bowl uses a left-handed thread. This is the only case in plumbing where it's lefty to tighten and righty to loosen.)

What to do if your toilet stops working

When a toilet stops working it can be a major inconvenience. If your toilet isn't working right, try the simple fixes below.

If the toilet doesn't flush:

When you jiggle the handle, nothing happens. Remove the lid from the toilet tank and peek inside. Most likely, either the chain came off at the lift rod or flapper end, or the rod broke in half. If the chain came off the rod, you can simply reattach it. (Finding the right amount of slack will take some trial and error.) Likewise, if it came off of the flapper, it can easily be reattached.

If the lift rod (the arm attached to the handle) is broken, you can purchase a new rod and handle assembly for a few bucks at just about any hardware store. A plastic nut holds the handle into the side of the tank and the whole assembly can be popped out and replaced. Once you've installed the new assembly, reattach the chain.

If the toilet keeps running:

Remove the tank lid and watch the toilet as it flushes. You'll probably see that the chain is too tight, causing the flapper to not close all the way, which results in water continuing to drain out and having to be replenished. Loosen the chain a little and see if it fixes the problem.

Another cause of a constantly-running toilet is an improper float height. The float is the balloon-looking thing that sits on the end of a shaft and falls and then rises when the toilet is flushed. When the float reaches a certain height, the fill valve is closed and the water stops flowing. If your toilet is running longer than it should, push down a tiny bit on the float and see if it stops running. If it does, the float just needs to be adjusted downward a little (by turning the screw at the other end of its shaft). You may need to try a few different heights to determine the optimal position of the float; adjust it slightly and flush the toilet, then adjust it again if necessary.

If there's not enough water pressure:

The chain may be too loose if there isn't enough pressure. With the tank lid off, watch the toilet flush. If there is too much slack in the chain, the flapper may close prematurely, reducing water pressure. Tighten the chain and see if that makes a difference.

Loss of water pressure can also be caused by the holes in the toilet bowl getting clogged up. There are little holes all around the side of the bowl, where water is forced into the bowl to refill it after a flush. If any of these holes get clogged, clean them out with a round file, a nail punch, or a similarly-shaped instrument. (Don't push too hard or hammer on the bowl.)

If the toilet overflows:

If your toilet overflows, the first thing to do is to turn off the water to the toilet. There is a valve on one side of the toilet, where the pipe runs from the wall to the toilet. Turn this valve clockwise to close it.

Once the water is off, use a plunger to try to clear the clog. If it works, you'll see the water drain out of the bowl. If the plunger can't clear it, try a simple drain-cleaning tool like a Zip-It or Turbo Snake. If you don't have anything that can remove the clog, or if the clog remains even after trying to clear it, you'll need to call a plumber (or buy yourself a closet auger or plumber's snake).

If you are able to remove the clog, turn the water back on and flush the toilet to make sure the clog is completely gone.

Leaky Seal

By leaking do you mean onto the bathroom floor, or is water escaping out the flush valve (the part that the Hydroright is seated in) into the toilet bowl. If the former 1) check toilet tank mounting bolts/gaskets for deterioration or looseness. These are usually 5/16"x3" brass bolts with rubber, plastic, and metal washers with a nut. They can be seen protruding through bottom of tank. 2) check flush valve and rubber gasket between tank and bowl. The flush valve is the one that the refill tube goes into and the hydroright seats into.
If you are only leaking water into bowl I would suggest the blue dome gasket ( part of Hydroright kit) is not properly seated properly into flushvalve, and you may have to re-install hydroright (the instructions explain how to remove and re-install) . I broke my existing/old flush valve at the base when trying to install my Hydroright so maybe it was fortuitous that it broke and I had to install a new one. Hope this helps.

Wand will not launch when seat is activated

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

f the toilet bowl overflows, use a plunger or auger to eliminate clogs. If the toilet does not flush, tighten or replace the defective handle , adjust or replace the lift chain , or replace the flush mechanism . Jiggling the handle forces the lift chain or rod to re-seat the flush mechanism, telling you that something is awry.

If the bowl drains sluggishly, remove the clog with a plunger or auger, or raise the water level in the tank .

If water runs continuously through the toilet, lower the water level in the tank , adjust or replace a lift chain or wire , repair or replace a worn flush valve , clean or replace the valve seat assembly .

If water appears under the tank, tighten the tank hold-down bolts , lower the water level in the tank, replace the float valve , replace a malfunctioning ball or tighten nuts on the water supply line, replace leaking supply line . As a last resort, re-seat the toilet .

If the seat is cracked or unsightly, replace it .

If the bowl or tank is cracked or otherwise unacceptable, replace the entire toilet .

If so check that drain systems air vent, (on the roof).
Find the pipe coming out of the roof nearest the bathroom with the problem and when a second person flushes the toilet you should be able to feel
air moving in and out of the pipe with your hand covering the end. If not the vent could be blocked by leaves or animals etc., this vent has to be clear in order for water to drain properly.
