Check to see if both motors are engaged. If not the problem, most likely controller has a short in the circuit board.

I have a shoprider steamer. It wants to turn right when I push the stick forward or backwards. When it does go forward, there is a kind of jerking to it. If goes left fine. On and off problem.

The free wheel levers have got to be in drive mode. if one is in drive and the other side is not then the chair will try to go in circles. So if the right side free wheel lever is not in drive position then the chair will try to drive to the right because the right motor is not turning the wheel. The wiring to the right motor may have become disconnected.

THE BATTERY LIGHT CONTINUSLY SCROLLS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AND CHAIR WILL NOT MOVE

Turn on Joystick and push horn twice, you are in locked mode. If this didn't work then turn Joystick on push gimbal forward until you hear a beep, then move the gimbal back until it beeps you are now unlocked. Gimbal= what you push to go left right forward or back on a joystick.

How do you get the seat too swival on my mvp-4 hoveround power chair

Hoveround manual:
Took the answer right from the manual. If you would like a digital copy of the manual, the link is posted below.
[The swivel seat permits the seat to pivot from the forward facing position through 90 degrees in either the left or right directions. The seat will lock in each of the forward, left and right facing positions. This feature is provided to make side transferring easier. The swivel release lever is mounted on the left side in the standard
position]

Wont turn left

hi, okay first check the brushes making sure the strings are not bent or broken, brush itself is not too short and finally the brush moves freely when inserted into the motor area...

Next check the brake located on the end of the motor, should click , has it released ?/

Jazzy 614HD will not move. Lights flash from right to left, then cuts off. Unlock instructions are not effective. Chair is fully charged.

If chair has a tilt, recline or lift seat on it it may be going into lock-out mode on its own due to a limit switch fault. If you don't have any of these options then I suggest you remove the joystick, controller and any wire harness between the two and send them to a shop like mine for repair.
The usual lock out light chase is from left to right - not right to left so this is suspect of a different issue.

Chair stuck in upright position, will not go down but the back of the chair moves backwards and forwards

Hard to say definitively without know the make and model of your particular chair but if your chair is anything like mine the same lever underneath it that makes the chair go up and down will also fix this: the lever can slide left and right as well as being flipped up and down. That's what always fixes it when it happens to my chair anyway.
