Can i download driver network wireless for hp pavilion dv6 pc to an external device off another computer, and then install on the laptop without a driver?

step one (guessing #4 down fails)

1. are you at home, Starbucks ,air port or at work, (who's wifi)
2. do other wifi devices work there., PC, TV, cell phones on wifi or ?
3. if yes,#2, then move the laptop closer t the wifi router.
4. If no and device manager shows 701 errors "? that means the drivers are wrong even infected not using HP.com drivers for your unstated OS. windows 7?
5. on my HP laptops, it takes 2 drivers from them to work wifi,
6. the wifi card driver must match (of up to 3 or more used new)
7. and must have the control panel BUTTON driver working to control wifi.
8. did you up grade it W10 and now wifi is dead , ? oops!

dv6-2155dx , seems was window 7 new, and frozen there,.
HP has no support now for this old PC. (besides asking on THEIR FORUM)

HP has short list of wifi cards they used, and only those work
HP blacklists all other non HP cards (unlike wonderful DELL)
so wrong cards are doomed to fail., as is w10

1st You download Webcam Driver.
I want to download usb port for pavilon dv6-6c40us
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Try installing the latest video driver.

Note - .exe file, download and install

Go to control panel and click on device manager, scroll down to network adapters and find your wireless adapter. Once found right click on your wireless adapter and see if there is an error found usually you will see an attention mark yellow if there is an issue with the network whether its a driver or not. If it is a driver right click on the network adapter and click update driver.
If the computer has the best network driver for the hardware, right click on the wireless adaper once again and uninstall, restart your computer. Once restarted your computer should recognize your wireless adapter and you should be able to access the internet.
If unable to access the internet check the connections to your router and modem, if that doesnt work your will have to refer to your manufactor due to a bad network adapter/

trouble shoot it under device manager.

NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller drivers may have messed up your network drivers , since your network card is broadcom or intel pro, and it is not there.

Try reinstalling the wireless lan drivers.

In there you find different wireless drivers, download and install them all, the computer will automatically chose the correct ones.

You will have to enter your wireless network key again after reinstalling drivers.

install software for ur plug in wireless then plug in ur wireless ...not until this point will system find and install....then get online and find driver for ur internal wireless ...download and install.....when u remove ur external and restart system will recognise internal as only wireless and configure ...if still have problem ....and ur problem wont be wireless Itll be getting online....then u need to config wireless differently.
