When you push on the horn pad you should hear a click, if you do then the system is working from the horn pad to the relay as the relay is what is clicking. then you just have to check at the horn connector to see if you have power, if you do then the horn is no good. if you don`t then check the wire from the horn back to the relay for a problem.

SOURCE: Horn doesnt work

its probably not the horn itself but it might be the horn button on the steering wheel, it probably the clock spring messing up , if it is than be very careful with the airbag when you pull the steering wheel off , just disconnect the battery and wait 5 to 10 minutes before disassembling the steering wheel

SOURCE: horn doesnt work but fuses and relay are good

In most cases this problem is caused by the rotating ribbon circuit contact under the steering wheel having a broken filament, the part is known as a clock spring contact, u will need to properly disarm the airbag and remove the steering wheel to access the part. WARNING: Failure to follow factory Airbag disarming protocol can result in an unexpected Airbag deployment and possible serious personnel injury or death.

91 Dodge Dakota, truck starts fine. No horn or lights. Fuses checked and were OK. Please Help.

Check voltage and ground for any component you are missing? Any applicable fuses, check for voltage at the fuse circuit, use a testlight to check for voltage. Of course ground is important also for the particular system.

The horn my nissan elgrand has stopped working i have checked the fuses they are ok

A bad switch or wire or connection of the wire to the horn. Try to jump a wire from positive termananl to the horn connection. If it
works the horn is ok. the problem is wire, possibly relay or connections. Back track the wire from horn to the next connection

Check your fuses for the horn. Use owners manual to search for it or use the internet to locate it. Also if the fuse is ok check for the horn relay. If that is working replace horn.

2005 ford taurus horn just doesn't work. I've

The problem can be with the horn pad, the horn relay or the horn itself. Find your horn relay, it should be in the engine compartment fuse box. Remove the relay and test for power at the legs. there should be two legs that have power. If there is power there, take the cover off the relay and plug it back in. Squeez the relay points together and see if the horn works. If the horn still does not work, it is probably the horn itself. If it does work it is probably the horn pad, but you don't want to mess with that because of the air bag. Let a pro do it.

All of this is predicated on the fact that you have checked all the fuses.

Hope this helps

Radio and horn will not work

I had the same exact issue today on my 86 Fiero. The Radio and Horn stopped working same time. There is a 20 amp fuse that is marked for the Horn but no mention of the radio. It is in the middle of the Fuse box. 86 -88 should have the same fuse box. ( If you reference the Chilton book they say the fuse is for Horn Cigarette lighter etc. but again no mention of the radio) I just happened to check this fuse (It was blown) and sure enough everything came back. Hope this helps......
