How is youre cable connected to the 1-tv 2-cd/dvd player 3-amplifier, coming from satelitte..If you watch a dvd, somtimes you half to push the tv.video button on the dvd remote control just once to allow the tv cable signal to pass to the tv. each time you watch a dvd it blocks the tv signal. this is normally true unless you have a special wiring configuration

I have an black screen that says do not power off scan the TV is an Alba 40" model no LCD40/68F apparently i need a software update??

It is referring to a channel scan - check your menu for that and do it for OTA reception.

I have an ALBA MODEL LCD19ADVD tV DVD. It has stopped working just recently. I tried a DVD in it and when I took it out all I get is a screen saying 'no signal'.

sounds like the source of feed Is incorrect. try selecting the source button or tv/av button

Hi i have a 19 inch alba tv dvd combo in dvd mode the tv says no signal dvd is just dead tv works fine says call argos

The player has failed, it is not a product that is really repaired due to the low cost of a new one, I would just buy a stand alone player and right this off.

Hi, I have an alba lcd32880hdf tv and moved tv to different part of room, when I turned the tv back on and did auto tune channels came back up except itv ones so went to retune again but tv then came up as...

The Tv is working fine, from the description it is that one channel not coming in, the blue screen indicates no signal. It could be that the signal in that room is a little weaker and just going below the thresh hold to allow it to come through. It is possible the station might have been off the air, try another auto tune.
