How to unlock my TV? How i can reach to menu

hi,
try the following for unlocking your tv

The Factory code number is 0 0 0 0 If the code has been changed, You can select to reset it using the Setup Code either under the channel blocking or setup code section.
Once there, Press 0 7 1 1
You will be given a message "INCORRECT ACCESS CODE" Press 0 7 1 1 on the remote again
Next, "enter your new access code" shows on screen.
Now you can enter a new 4 digit code. (write it down somewhere)

The only channels available are throu ch 2-13, I have tried doing numerous auto searches. and have tried to restart it. I checked the cable, everthing is plugged tightly and nothing is frayed. It has done...

Make sure the TV is set for "CABLE" or "CATV" tuning. I forget on this model exactly where in the menus the setting is. Sorry. But it's usually in a general setup page, or part of the channel setup. If the TV is set for "AIR" or "ANTENNA" tuning, cable channels 14 and up won't be detected.

Manual needed for Sanyo CP29ST3 - I need to tune in TV channels! I lost the manual!

Sanyo has two parts distributors in the U.S. Both are listed below. You'll need to contact the one closest to you and inquire about purchasing a replacement manual. In the meantime, if you're just trying to program the channels into your TV, you need to bring up the TV's menu and select the screen that has the channel or setup options. All TV menus follow the same general format: you should see icons or words going across the top of the screen or down the left side indicating the different menus that are available. On some older TVs you have to press the menu button more than once to cycle through the different menus. Each menu has different options such as picture options (brightness, color, tint, etc) audio options, setup options, and channel options. Use the arrow keys on the TV remote to manipulate what you see once the menu is on the screen. Once you find the channel options, you need to perform what's called a channel scan. On the screen it may say auto scan, auto program, or channel scan. Once you start the scan, you're done. The TV will scan for all available channels and the menu will disappear once it's finshed.

I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today.

Please post a comment if you need additional assistance so that I can help you further.

Need codes to access TV menus

The solution relies with the remote. press the menu button and use the +/- buttons beside it instead of the volume or channel buttons. This TV was at a work camp in northern Alberta and the instructions were not available. Hope this helps others who do not have instructions available.

Your best solution is to get rid of that crappy TV! Having an old tube Tv really makes the rooms look bad.

Samsung LE40R73BD DTV freezing, wont chnage channel

i've just some digging around and found that you can access a service menu and perform a reset which sorted the issue for me.

Access the service menu by pressing, in order, whilst the tv is in stand-by mode:

info
menu
mute
power

when the tv comes back on you will have a service menu; select option 12 (reset) the tv will then switch off.

this will reset your TV back to factory defaults.

turn tv back on and you should be prompted to go through the plug and play setup again - go through everything and then all should start working OK (it did for me)

RCA f27242gy

If you have a remote control you should be able to access the "atuoprogram" feature within the setup menus. This will look for all active channels and place them into memory. What model is it?
