Well...if your springs are shot, I suppose its likely that all your control arm bushings are fairly worn...which throws all sorts of randomity into your tracking geometries. May as well replace all your bushings too, or buy the new control arm sets whole and get the whole thing newly-aligned. Even if the springs are not shot and you are going for higher rate springs, new bushings should be involved anyway.

Dont disconect any thing on the suspension it will knock out the camber and caster and will ruin the rear tyres you can buy the proper compressers for around 60 to 80 pound on ebay or amazon it will cost a lot more to get the rear suspension tracked or new tyres

What is the name of the coil spring to purchse for Coil Spring for a Ford five hundred AWD

I would be taking this to a suspension specialist for good after market springs of the right length. The struts used may be too short in travel and that is what is holding the rear down or it may be just weak springs

Replacing rear coil springs

You have to remove the struts from the car. Place the struts on a compression tower to relief pressure from spring. Once spring is compressed take of the top bolt on the strut which holds on the strut mount. After strut mount nut is off, loosen the springs tension and replace it with the new coil spring you are planning one using. Tighten the spring with mount back on and tighten bolt. then reinstall on car.

My 2001 Dodge Stratus uses struts only instead of shocks. I recently had struts and stabilizer bars installed on the rear of my car. My question is why do I still get the same results when driving, like...

If the struts are new the springs may need to be replaced. These struts should have a spring around them then there is the leaf spring that could be the issue. You could try using spring stiffiners to tighten the suspension up but I would discuss this with my mechanic first. it really sounds like they replaced the struts with a standard strut assembly and what you wanted was the sport suspension strut.

Right Rear Coil spring Assembly Broken ( Pot Hole) Car is lower on right rear. Will I have to Replace both rear coil springs for this repair? Where can I get a schematic of shock coil spring assembly?

No, you don't absolutely have to replace both rear springs to make it all functional again. Having said that, if I were you, I would replace both so as to assure myself that I had a evenly balanced rear suspension.

As to the schematic, you can purchase a vehicle specific repair manual at your local PepBoys, Auto Zone, Advance, O'Reilly's, etc. that will contain the info you seek. Probably won't run over $25

Hope this is of some help.

Good luck!

Rear springs replacement

You will need a spring compressor first of all. You have to remove strut, compress sring to get cartridge and spring apart and then replace new spring on strut and replace into vehicle. This is a nasty job without a hoist

How much oil do i put in the rear shok for a yz250

You can change it. Im looking for the correct amount to do it myself. I already pulled mine apart and bought a rebuild kit for it. Comes with a new nitrogen bladder, o rings for the seal, and a few other necessary items. Just remember to measure where the jam nuts holding your spring is so you can put it back in the correct location. As for the nitrogen i heard 150 psi. I'm fortunate to work at an offroad racing shop so i'm just gonna fill mine with nitrogen there, but i dont think you should get charged too much at a regular bike shop. Rockymountainatv.com has the rebuild kit. You will need the seals atleast. If i find anything else out i'll let you know. Hope this helps.
