What? ok boot it in to safe mode from the startup recovery menu, and from there delete the account once more, shut down the computer afterwards an boot it back up and that should take care of that.

o cancel a Gmail account and delete the associated Gmail address:
  • Go to Google Account Settings.
  • Open the Products page.
  • Click Edit under Your products.
  • Click Remove Gmail permanently under Delete a Product.

  • Click REMOVE GMAIL.
  • Open the "Gmail Removal Confirmation" email from "[email protected]" at the email address you specified as your new.
  • Follow the deletion link in it.
  • Type your Gmail password under Password:.
  • Click Verify.
    • Keep in mind that you cannot undo this step.

First you need to make sure that the user is logged off, you can log them off via the task manager

In the User Accounts and Family Safety list, click the Add or Remove User Accounts link, and then authenticate yourself to User Account Control. Windows displays the Manage Accounts window. Click the user’s icon. Windows displays the Change an Account window .
Click the Delete the Account link. Windows displays the Do You Want to Keep Username’s Files?.window where Username is the user’s name.
Click the Keep Files button or the Delete Files button as appropriate. Windows displays the Are You Sure You Want to Delete Username’s Account? window to make sure you’ve thought about what you’re doing.
Click the Delete Account button if you’re sure you want to proceed. Windows deletes the account and displays the Manage Accounts window again.
