Hi, you can try resetting by following the below steps. It works for most tablets.
1 turn off the tablet
2 press and hold the power button and keep tapping the volume down button at the same time.
3 it should take you to recovery screen. Go to factory reset by using volume button and select by using either the center button on the tablet or the power button if there is no center button.
Please reply if it helped
which Password are you talking about? The locked tablet Password or the password to your account? If you are talking about the locked password for your tablet you have to go into settings and then to privacy and then change password.
1. Turn off the tablet power completely 2. Press and hold VOL - and power at the same time 3. Tablet will turn on and go to the system menu 4. Go to 'Wipe Data/Factory Reset' 5. Press VOL+ to select 6. It will take you to reboot system now, press VOL+ to select. 7. Tablet will reboot and restore to factory.
You will need to restore the device if you cannot remember your password. Just connect the iPad to your computer, open iTunes and select the restore option. Be aware this will erase the data on the iPad, but as far as I know you cannot unlock it without the password.
Hopefully you have a recent backup and then can just put the data back once it's been restored.
