Why does my troy bilt super bronco will not roll unless it is running

I am assuming your belt broke and you cannot find the replacement.
I had to go to an old timer that owns his independent business and he was able to find a much better belt than the one that came on the tiller. The Belt # is 1916657 and it is 25.5 inches long and 1/2 inches wide. It also has a kevelar core that will stand up to the constant gearing up and down.

Lowes was NO HELP AT ALL!!!!

Sounds like fuel starvation

Check / remove carby / strip down / check for blocked jets for contamination.

Check spark is present.

Is correct heat range

did it run out of gas when you added gas it could be that the fuel line has plugged up with something from the bottom of the tank take the fuel line off and try blowing threw it and take a air hose and blow out the carb and carb cleaner
