The battery may be bad or going bad The battery may no longer be able to take a charge and must be replaced There may be a motor wiring fault There may be an overvoltage supply to the batteries There may be poor park brakes or a brake fault There may be poor connections or rust The speed indicator may be flashing, which means the powerchair is locked This typically happens after 6-12 months of use.
This torch has a Proprietary rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries (2,200 mAh), that is its made for this torch and nothing else. NiMH like to be kept fully charged and if you discharge the battery too much or leave it discharged it wont charge up fully or at all.
All I can sugest is to trickle charge for 12 hours then discharge fully and recharge for 12 hours again, repeat cycle till it lasts longer or replace the battery.
A replacement battery will be expensive.
I use LED torches with cree led and 18650 Li cells, last much longer than NiMH, easy to replace and cheap.
find a reputable battery shop ( not repco , supa cheap type shops )and discuss your requirements with them
go for calcium batteries or the like for long life as battery construction has changed a lot in the last few years
remember the bigger capacity battery , the longer it will run items so don't settle for a small battery when a larger ( if it will fit ) battery will be a better buy
warranty is 12 months standard up to 3 years but the price goes up for the warranty period
Hi there. I would not suggest that you leave it on charge, as you may burn the charger, or pop the battery. These units are very sensitive and should rather be charged and battery removed, so that no current is drawn from the unit, and when needed, the battery can be fiitted and ready to use. The charge however will also not stay in the battery for longer than a month or so. Hope this helps
put a volt meter across the battery, engine stopped must be over 12v. rev the engine to 3-4000 should rise to about 14v, this will show the charge system is working Some batteries only last 12 months or so. if it is a couple of years old buy a new one, the gel ones seem to last longer
I have a Clarion Cz509A stereo which did connect via blue tooth to my I phone 3 for over 12 months. However after a car battery was changed they no longer pair together. I have reset the phone, turned it on and off. Checked the pass key is correct with the stereo. Checked hot wire is connected as it keeps time and radio settings when battery is disconnected for over an hour. Tried the head set reset button, but still no detection. What ya reckon
Yes, it is likely you need new battery packs. The Li-Ion batteries have a 12-18 month life expectancy. They will sometimes go longer if the radios are charged and depleted at least once a month. This style battery should be available from your local Motorola dealer on online at Motorola. http://www.store.motorola.com/mot/en/US/adirect/motorola?cmd=catDisplayStyle&catKey=601560
