A noun you add an 's to. Example: the boy's ball, the teacher's pet, etc.... In these 2 example, boy's and teacher's are possessive nouns.

Special nouns are abstract nouns like names of qualities,emotions or ideas which can only be experienced and not physically seen,touched etc
