Hi, regarding the JCB M25 strimmer, do you know the gap size for the spark plug? Thanks for previous answer, running better but not perfect.

This engine uses a Champion RCJ-6Y or NGK BPMR7A spark plug with 0.05 in.

That gap is too big.... so looked for another and found it in metric.

SPARK PLUG REPLACEMENT See Figure 12. This engine uses a Champion RCJ-6Y or equivalent spark plug with 0.63 mm electrode gap. Use an exact model and replace annually.

Now 0.63mm is 0.025 inches... that's more reasonable.

The spark plug gap depends from the engine make/model, not from the spark plug type.
Usually all engines will run with a gap between 0.7 and 1.00mm
