The only thing that would damage DAB reciever is lightning hitting the arial. But all you have to do is unplug during a storm. You might get a better reception with the £100 job, but I think he was a conman!
If in doubt read the instructions!

'Columbus' doesn't appear to be found. Nearly all of John Lewis radios seem to be made by Roberts Radio. You could try searching for a manual using a model NUMBER rather than the friendly name 'Columbus'.

I have a JOHN LEWIS slimline dishwasher JLDWW906. It is showing error i60 which is not in the manual water pressure is fine as is drainage. Can anyone help?

Usually you just set the frequency and then press and hold the memory button for a few seconds.

Where can I get new adapter?

The power adapter is most probably a standard type. On the radio, Check the voltage rating, the polarity. There are many adapters with multiple output voltage, multiple tips and reversible polarity.

I have a john Lewis remote that won't work my Bt vision box, despite the codes which I have entered from the instruction manual

I recommend that your contact the company cables, and consult if the john lewis control is compatible witht Bt box.
They will instruct if this will be work. Otherwise you must replace by other remote such as R.Schack that work very well.
