SOURCE: cannot get channel guide to show

Besides the many features Osiris MX-350 provides as a universal remote control, it is also a learning remote.

If pushing the button doesn't have the expected result, e.g. pushing the GUIDE button on the remote doesn't bring up the channel guide, you can teach the Osiris with the original remote.

Instructions on teaching your remote a new command is included in the instruction manual.

Since I couldn't find a code for my Sony blu-ray player, I just taught the Osiris all the commands from my original remote in about 10 minutes.

Is there a TV Guide for the ematic AT 103B digital converter box?

There is an electronic program guide. However, it's limited. To see the current program and upcoming programs for the current channel, press the EPG button on the original Ematic AT103B remote. (Universal remotes may or may not match the function.) To see the other channel's program list, use the left/right arrows to scroll through the lists for all of the available channels.

You may find a web site like Titan TV, http://www.titantv.com/ , more useful. The site has a guide to all channels at once by time for your area OTA channels.

I hope this helps.

To see if the problem is with your remote control, go to the receiver and use the channel up/down buttons on the receiver itself. If you can change your channels with the buttons on the receiver, the batteries in your remote control probably need to be changed.

If you can't change channels from the receiver, turn off the receiver. Then unplug it for at least 15 seconds. Plug the receiver back it and turn it on. Again, try changing channels from the receiver itself.

Tune to a channel, and while programming is playing, try tuning to the missing channel by entering the channel number on the remote control keypad to see if channels change. Do not try to select the channel from a channel list, program guide, or favorites list.

If this approach takes you to the correct channel, you need to adjust your favorites list function. Press the "guide" button on your remote. Look for a button on your remote called "fav" or "list." Press it several times and watch for an indication at the top of the guide that you are moving from "all channels" to a particular favorites list.

If you are locked on one channel only, your Channel Lock feature is likely active. Consult your owner's manual to unlock the rest of your channels. See your owner's manual for information on managing favorite channel lists and locking out channels. Enter your password, if necessary.

Motorola Talkabout 200 - how do i set main channel only? i need to set for example channel 1 and subchannel 0 (1-0; 2-0; etc) but i can only set a main channel with subcode for example (1-1; 1-2; 1-38

Here is a link to the user guide for the T289. It is the closest we have fofound to the T200 guide: http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/T289_User_Manual.pdf

It may be of assistance to you. Honestly, we were thinking the early model T200 and T250 did not have the interference eliminator code., just 14 channels. However, if you are experiencing other numbers, it is possibly the code.

Best regards.

I can change channels by entering the actual channel number on the keypad, but the channel up and down buttons don't work

The up/down button is worn out (guys do this, since we love to channel surf). Keep the original
remote that came with the TV (they're invaluable), but buy a cheap universal replacement remote
(I got my last one at Dollar General for $8), program it for your TV, and surf with that - you'll
get power ON/OFF, channel up/down, and volume control from any universal remote.

Remote up & down channel buttons will only bring up a few channels. Cannot go through all channels unless I punch in digits on remote

Which Dish model receiver and remote? You likely have a custom guide selected that only includes those channels. On most models, press guide twice and select a different guide or press Favorites to Modify List of the channels in the current guide. If in doubt select All Sub or All Channels to see more/too many channels with up/down. I use All HD for seeing the high-def channels. Otherwise I use a custom list to see a bigger listing. -Ken

Guide listings are incomplete

1. Manually scan all channels on your TV with your TV remote and write down the channels and network shown:
(sample: 119.2 C-SPAN2 digital channel).
2. Go to Edit Channels and find the icon for C-SPAN2 (about icon 261 in my zip code). Manually change the channel from Off to On, Insert the frequency, and optionally insert the number you want the channel to show in your channel listing ( or move it manually later).

I have about 10 to add each time I reset my recorder.

Turn tv on, and it scrolls through the channels

Had the same problem, channels would not stop scrolling.
It was as though someone had there finger on the channel up button.
Disconnected the sixth wire, starting with the black wire on the wiring harness for the front buttons, on/off, ch. up/down, vol. up/down, etc.
It works fine, no more unwanted channel surfing!!
