SOURCE: I have set

Woods 7-day timer:
Timer dial is supposed to rotate at all times no matter if override switch is set set to ON or Timer.
Sounds like the timer is broken.

SOURCE: I have a 7-day timer model em0101 and can't set it

There is a reset button to the left of the on/off button. It's recessed so you'll have to use a ball point pen or paper clip to reset the timer. The clock will flash 12:00 after it's reset. Press the clock button several times to select the day of the week. Then hold down on the clock button (third button on top right) and then twist the dial clockwise to set the hours, then counter-clockwise to set minutes. After the clock is set, press "timer" and do the same thing to set your on/off times. If you only use one timer, make sure the other 5 don't have anything in them.

SOURCE: I have a HB88RC Intermatic 7 day / 7 event timer.

Just program it as noted previously and put the timer in Auto. Set the clock to 1 min BEFORE your earliest timer program is set to come on. When the clock hits the correct time, it will turn on. Then set the clock to the correct time and you're golden.

7 day Electronic Timer TE7-MPdoes it need a battery replacement?

It comes with an NiMH rechargeable battery, so it should not need changing normally. If it does not hold the time when the power fails, the NiMH battery may have worn out or failed, so contact Masterplug for information to replace

I'm using the woods 59200 mechanical timer to automatically open and close a chicken coop door. I can't for the life of me figure out how to set it. Help!

Woods 59202 is 7-day analog VACATION timer and cannot be set.
Vacation timers are preset to turn on-and-off at random times so it looks like somebody is home when you are away.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#59202

You might want the 59201 analog timer which can be set for on-off times over 24-hour period. Minimum on-off is 15 minutes.

If you need a 7-day timer, buy a programmable instead of analog. Wooods 59377 or Intermatic DT630 heavy duty

If you have analog plug-in timer, open following link to see how to set timers:

Woods timers:

You posted under Woods 59383.
Plug timer into wall after setting timer.
Maximum load 500 watts, used for indoor or outdoor
Set current time, rotate dial until current time lines up with black triangle.
Around outer edge of dial are segments.
Pull up all segments for times you want timer OFF
Leave segments down for times you want timer ON
Locate switch on timer.
Push switch so the V shape is down.
Plug into wall outlet, plug Christmas lights into timer
Drink ale and eat turkey legs.
