Where can I source an new a.c. adapter for my craftwell e bosser

If your unit is set up for 120v (std American), I wouldn't suggest try 220. There are adapters, available that step down 220 to 120. Many of the people in the military who are stationed overseas (especially Europe) buy these devices for there US equipment. Try to "Google" 220 vac-120vac adapters. I'm sure there are places you can order them from.

How can you charge the batteries from your unit if the AC power source cannot works in? Maybe the DC adapter socket's solders was cracked or loosed.

Replace it with a new one. Repair shop should have it though. Or, you can find any adapter that fits in and have the same spec, input voltage, output voltage, ampere and others.

Im very sorry to hear that, please follow these simple steps for you to be able to isolate the exact problem.


1. Removed the battery.
2. Connect the laptop directly to the power outlet without using the battery just for the meantime.
3. Turn on the laptop. If the laptop is able to power on, that means that the AC adapter is working fine as well as the DC port. If the laptop is not able to turn on, it maybe the AC adapter itself or the DC port.
4. Try to use another AC adapter if possible, make sure that that AC adapter is working fine. If the laptop is still not turning on, the problem is with the DC port itself. In that case, you will need to replaced the Motherboard itself.

Take out of your battery, then plug in your ac adapter, see if it works, if no, then you have a faulty ac adapter, you need to replace it; and if yes, then you adapter is ok, the battery or dc jack may be broken.

It's importnat to know the power requirements of the device in either watts or amps to choose an adapter capable of serving the load. Otherwise, it might be too small and cause a fire.
