Thanks for your post, friend!
I understand that you looking for steps on how to clean the coin trap on your Frigidaire washer. Here are the steps to access the coin trap.
· Assure power has been disconnected to your appliance.
· Tilt the unit up to where the front feet are in the air and the back feet are still on the ground. Please make sure it is tilted up safely.
· Look inside on the bottom right hand side there is a black accordion piece. This is the screen trap or coin trap.
· Have towels available with you because any access water will come out.
· At the top of the coin trap where it is attached to the drum you will notice a silver spring and screw. Loosen the screw and wiggle the coin trap out.
· Clean the trap and follow these steps in reverse to reassemble your washer.
Best of luck! -Matt

Bosch, the maufacturer @ 1-800-944-2904 says there is "no" coin trap so whatever is lost in the washer has been flushed down the drain , lesson learned : check your pockets and collars before you wash, everytime.

Just fixed mine, only I did not have to take it all a part. Just tip it over and reached in thru the opening in the bottom. Took the clamp loose with a phillips screwdriver and pulled the rubber off that contains the filter. Stuck my hand in the opening and pushed up on the filter from the bottom on the rubber container. Out came the filter and I cleaned it and pushed back down inside until it was past the lip that held it in place. Works great, took about 10 mins., not bad for a woman, huh. Thanks for the info, could not have done without your diagram and information.

no lint trap...the best you can do is give it a hot wash bleach with a cold rinse,,,onthejob
SOURCE: I start the machine, it runs till it would appear
disconnect machine from mains electric supply. remove top cover of machine then check the back of the control panel for a small black pipe, it should be attached to a small nipple in the panel rear if it is not you will get the fault you describe. if the pipe is connected remove it and blow down pipe with your mouth or a foot pump to remove any blockage then reconnect it and try the machine again. check also that the pipe is not trapped or kinked too i hope this helps you

check your outflow to make sure there is nothing inside it that can act as a blockage before the coin trap
Hi footitrncs- Here are some generics instructions on how to clean out the pump. I advise to please be very cautions.
1. Unplug the unit.
2. Tilt the unit up to where the front feet are in the air and the back feet are still on the ground. Please make sure the unit is propped up safely.
3. Now that the unit is propped up look inside on the bottom right hand side there is a black looking accordion thing. This is the coin trap.
4. Clean the drum out with as much water as possible and have towels ready. The next step you will have the remaining water come out.
5. At the top of the coin trap where it is attached to the drum is a silver spring with a silver screw. Loosen the screw and wiggle the coin trap down from the drum.
5. Reach inside the coin trap and clean what is inside of it out.
6. Put the unit back together following the same steps backwards
However, if you are looking to replace the pump completely, I strongly suggest consulting a professional for further assistance due to the difficult location of the pump itself.

Hello Tony - Often when a unit does not spin it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose. Also you might want to clean out the coin trap, filter trap, of the unit for extra security. This needs to be completed about every 6 months to prevent any issues.
