Your question is vague. Are you asking how to replace a toner cartridge because the toner is light or out? Or are you trying to increase the darkness of the print?
unfortunately no setting for increase , but you look like toner empty , you can chack the toner cartridge 5 time then install in printer you get good black for while , if the toner is not completely empty
In higher end printer there is an option to selct toner density level 1-5, as per your desire we can select..There is an other option in printer pripoeties you can increase the DPI to get good quality print out..
Faulty cartride or fuser causes ghoost image in print outs.Primary level:check with another cartridge. Secondry level: Remove fuser assm out, check teflon sleeve surface deposited with toner?. replace teflon sleeve if available if not replace fuser assm. In fuser modes we can increase/decrese the temparature of fuser. Note: only service engineer can replace the teflon sleeve.. user not advisable
Try increasing the black level in the settings. Otherwise being that it is new. I would just return it for a new one so that way you arent running into problems past the warranty period. Thank you, Lee
Press,,,,, Menu #1934 . What you may want to try first is to do what is called the Shading adjustment. That calibrates the scanner. It would be found in the maintenance menu after you enter diagnostics. You must place 5 pieces of white paper on the glass before you perform the adjustment. There really is no way to increase the amount of toner concentration on that machine. You may very well have a defective ink cartridge. That is not uncommon on the C20. There is a metering blade in the toner cartridge that often times does not allow enough ink to be applied to the toner roller.
Several Options:
- Increase the Toner Density Level to 5
- Use freshly opened media
- Use a new print cartridge, if near end of life
- Run a cleaning page to clean the fuser
