The error lite on Buzzaround Lite scooter flashing

The error light flashes five times, stops, flashes five times again, stops and continues with this sequence. Manual says to check the brakes. It is in the correct position. Then it talks about brake connection. What does this all mean. What do I do? The scooter does not move. Batteries are brand new and charged.

5 flash code is the electro magnetic Brake. This is referring to the brake on the motor that can be released by the freewheel lever.

1. place the freewheel lever into the free wheel position. Ensure the scooter is in free wheel and move the scooter forwards and backwards a few times.

2. Place the freewheel lever in drive position, push on scooter to ensure it is in drive and does not move. Turn on key and press the throttle. If you have the same code again, call a technician to check the brake, chances are it needs replaced.

SOURCE: Scooter batteries will not charge. Green light on

ok, this could be a dodgy connection with the batteries or the charger is at fault ?

1. try another charger
2. check the batteries if possible on another scooter.

3. check the connection on the battery and the charge socket connector.

SOURCE: AXS Mobility scooter loses battery power quickly.

hi , two problems can cause this,

1. batteries are weak, is the charger ok ? just because it 's green does not mean the charger is ok, can you validate the charge, try some other batteries ?,

2. Brake be activated or on at all times,
The best way to prove this is to remove the brake mech from the side of the motor completey now try the scooter, if the problem goes away then check the resistance of the brake, is it open or shorted ?
If you feel the brake, batteries and charger are working ok then the controller must be activating the brake and this is the fault but please double check the voltage on the brake leads.

GeWiz.

SOURCE: Scooter moves approx 10 feet then stops led flashe...

Hi. 8 flashes is a fault code for a motor fault. It will be either worn brushes in the motor or faulty connectors to the motor. This fault code means that there is no circuit through the motor. Probably time to overhaul the motor. Most mobility scooters have plugs and sockets that are really to small to carry the amount of current that they do. Because of this, they sometimes fail.Good luck. Neil.

SOURCE: scooter battery shows full charge but scooter does

Plamont unfortunately that flash code usually means a controller error. The controller is the brains of your scooter. Take the seat off and remove the rear shroud that covers the batteries and motor/gearbox assembly. Check all the wiring connectors for damage or loose connections. After checking the connectors turn the scooter on and see if you still get 8 flashes.
Did Medicare purchase the scooter? If so they will pay for most of the repair costs. You can contact your provider that sold you the scooter or a repair service Repair Xpress@ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 Hope this helps you

SOURCE: I have an electric mobility

Barb the flashes indicate a brake problem. Make sure that you aren't in freewheel. Move the freewheel lever located at the rear of your scooter up and down a few times then put it in drive mode and turn the scooter on and see if you still get 5 flashes If so you will have to replace the brake assembly Hope this helps

I have Omega EHE 100S ducted heating when I switch it on there is no response at all. Can you help me out?

If your green light flashes a normal 1 second flash continuously, it means your furnace has a normal heartbeat. If your green lite flashes so many times then stops and then flashes that many times again, then stops again, and repeats again, count the number of flashes, write down that number, then remove the fan door the schematic will tell you the trouble. If your furnace has a normal heartbeat, the thermostat or wiring from the thermostat to the furnace is opoen or faulty.

Robin: I bought replacement batteries for my Buzzaround lite, but don't see how to do it myself in manual.

I don't want to be rude in any way, but I think you can't do this yourself if you have to ask it here. On the other hand, if you are strong enough, have the right tools and you will take the right safety precautions it could go.
This link to youtube shows how easy it is to remove the battery pack and place it back.
If you want to replace the batteries in the battery pack I'll have to search a little bit if someone already showed this on the net. The Buzzaround Lite Mobility Scooter

Led Flashes 5 times - Brake in freewheel or brake connection problem. How can I fix this?

Pull the key out of the plug or key switch. There is a freewheel/brake release lever sticking out of the top or back of your scooter on the driver's right hand side. Push this handle the opposite way it is now and try the scooter. If this does not work, repeat the steps above. It is important to do this with the key out of the unit or it will not reset.

LED Flashes 5 times - Brake in freewheel or brake connection problem. How can I fix this?

Brake in freewheel means that your scooter is not fully in gear, it must be 'set in the engaged (Fully forward) position.' See page 24 of the manual for your model, (Link below to the pdf if you need it) but if its anything like mine it just didn't click in properly. Roll it back and forward a few inches, and it should 'click' like the seat in the car when you change its position. If freewheel is not the problem (if it can't be rolled and is definately in gear) check all plugs and cords are tight in sockets, you may have a brakes problem. In this event it must be looked at by an expert. Stay safe!

I try to turn it on but it just blinks on stand by

Probable Lamp. If lamp hasn't bown the red Lamp Lite won't flash but other lamp issues cause stby timer light to continue flashing. If stby red lite is flashing, count the no. of times flashing - could open thermal fuse (6X flashing)
