After bush hogging for an hour or so temp increases let it idle for awhile colled down after about 3 hrs it boiled over and steam came out of recovery tank tube. all filters in front and below radiator were cleaned. Had good clean green antifreeze when beginning to work tractor. reduced work load-raised bush hog and slowed speed down-checked fan belt and blades-0k-let set overnight added water and it ran ok for about an hour then spiked up and boiled over. summary can use for about an hour. ?radiator clogged? water pump?
Thermostat or clogged radiator you would see the water pump leaking go to the water pump and try to move the pulley back and forth take the belt off and check for free turning no grinding I'm pretty sure the thermostat's closed but the belt could be slipping to so check the tension on it if its to loose it will slip and not rotate the water pump pulley at the proper rpm's

1. start the engine and leave the radiator cap open.
2. put a cardboard cover or a rug in the front of you radiator.
3. let it runs 20 minutes or more, see if it is overheated and see the water or coolant in the radiator circulated or not. If not, as soon as you have already changed water pump. thermostate and check the hoses, no leak, I think your radiator was blocked.
Did you put stop leak before?

Check your coolant level and see if it is down. If you have checked heads you will notice your engine oil beginning to turn milky white.
If you want a more complete check for cracked heads, plug all spark plugs, and if you can get a coolant pressure tester, pump it up to 12 or 13 psi and then crank the engine over. Watch for water to spray out of one of the cylinders.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Offhand it would appear that the radiator fan is not working. In some versions, either the A/C or the heater must be turned on for the radiator fan to work. In some other incidents, the fan utilizes a clutch. Common design makes use of the inverse property of silica oil to serve as the clutch. Still others have a relay that actually does the switching on of the fan. Of course it would be to your advantage to likewise check the temperature sensor on the radiator.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy Holidays.

if our engine run at 82 celcius there no reason its start boiling when you turn it off its normal for temp to raise when you turn off the engine but to start boilling thats mean our temp is higher then 84 degre check our gauge manuelly check the temp with a thermometer directly in the radiator and compare with the gauge that mean the faster you go colder its get so the radiator does its job but what weird it goes up at lower speed so not enought air goes trough the radiator are you missing a front spoiller that redirect the air to the radiator if you raise the boots you gonna have to raise the cooling capaciter of the car check it out let me no. . pierre
