Wont start just clicks

Turn the key and it doesn't turn over but just clicks

Also make sure the connections at the battery are not corroded. Pay attention to the dash lights, are they dim? Or do theu jist shut off totally when you crank it.

Several possible causes. 2 most likely. Battery voltage is not sufficient to turn the starter motor, in this case, try using jumper cables. Or the start itself could be bad. The click is likely the starter solenoid pushing the starter gear up into the flywheel, but the starter motor is not turning.

Worst case, this is also the symptoms you would receive if the engine was froze up.

I cant start the car the key wont turn in ignition
Last time i had this problem, my car wasnt all the way in park, so what i would try is:
1: apply the break
2: push up on the gear shift, to make sure its in park.( if you can move the gear out of park, move it all the way to drive 2, then back to park.
3: try the key again

What is located in the glovebox of 2003 Kia Sodona that makes a click sound when trying to start?
There are several relays located in that area...it doesn't matter because the relays are probably not the cause of tyour vehicle not starting. If they are clicking, it can only be because they are working - or at least, TRYING to work.
It sounds to me like you need to check the condition of your battery and battery cable connections.

My key doesn't turn in the ignition, its automatic and the shifter and wheel wont move either. Everything is locked how do I unlock it? help pls?
If turning the steering wheel to the left or right doesn't allow the key to turn, it sounds like your tumblers in the lock cylinder have failed. Unfortunately, there is no way to know when this is going to happen, but eventually, it happens. Not a real expensive fix. Replace the ignition/lock cylinder.

Car wont start, NOT battery
sometimes a rubber mallet doesn't work on the stater, you actually have to hit it with something stronger, like a hammer while turning it over. If not check to see if you have a pro lock on your vehicle because if that becomes just a little loose it won't start.

This is an indication that you have a bad or loose connection at the battery. Check the cable ends on the battery and clean them of any green looking stuff. Make sure all connection are tight at the battery.

I have heard this click. It's electrical interference. When you remote start it doesn't turn everything on like the key would. It really shouldn't do this, but it doesn;t seem to hurt anything. If you had the remote installed recently ask the company about it.

the click is telling you that the power is very low you have 1 of 2 proublams the battery cables are corroded or the starter cable at the starter is loose or dirty with a bad connection hope this helps bob if all that doesn't do the trick you need a starter.
