SOURCE: Nokia 6300 Memory Problem

Brother it is software problem in your phone, I doubt it is due to file infected by some virus. It is advisable to disinfect both your MMC and phone . For that you can reset your phone on factory setting by using it's menu and format/disinfect your MMC by any updated virus programme on pc. It will solve your problem.
If it sounds works then vote it here.

SOURCE: Nokia 6120 question

Hi,

This might be much to late but I am posting this because I could not find a solution on the web.

I had a similar problem after moving my sim from another phone to the new 6210. In the end it was because there was old unread SIM messages on the SIM card. I deleted them and all was fine.

To do thes go to messaging, select OPTIONS, SIM Messages. Mark all and delete.

Cheers,

Robert Mugabe (who is an arse)

My nokia n8 working only offline mode .not orking in genral mode how to repar

maybe check ur sim slot or try ur sim to other phone if is no signal ur problems its in sim if not at same try to hard format ur n8

If you're unfortunate enough to encounter a problem on your Nokia N8, a hard reset maybe what you need to do. This wipes the entire phone memory and settings fresh to how it was (or should be) when you bought it. It's also useful if you're also unfortunate enough to have to send away your Nokia N8 for repair or exchange, or maybe in future you maybe selling it and don't want your information/details/media stored onto your device for someone else to access.
Hopefully unlike the N97, the N8 will not encounter hard-reset bugs where we constantly have to hard reset.
To hard reset the Nokia N8:
1) Turn off your phone
2) Hold "Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key" and press power button until your phone vibrates.
3) Wait until screen show properly... and welcome back!!hard_reset_n8.jpg

or try this one

I recently purchased a 8GB sd card to expand the memory on my zio and it keeps saying that my phone is low on memory and it won't let me download anymore apps or recieve any incoming text messages. Yet...

Apps are stored internally and do not have anything to do with storage provided by the sd card. You are limited to 512MB of space for apps, texts, pictures, video, etc. The sd card storage space can be used to hold pictures, movies, songs.
To free up space, you can do a couple things. First, you can open the File Viewer on your phone and move any photos, movies or songs you've created/downloaded from internal to the sd card. Second, you can delete apps or text messages to free up space.

Nokia N81 Phone memory problems.

To start, please note 34KB isn't much space at all. That phone has a minimum of 12 megabytes and a maximum of 8 gigabtyes depending on when you got your phone.

But just for size comparison, 34 kilobytes = 0.033203125 megabytes so you have plenty of space, those kilobytes mean nothing.

I don't personally own a Nokia phone, but from what I hear, all of their phones have software on them called Lifeblog, it stores all of your photos taken, and all of the calls you have made on your phone and arranges them in a time line, this ends up taking up a lot of space and is a cause for many of the memory related problems.

Possible Solutions:
First:
Backup anything you want to keep with Nokia PC Suite
Then:
Reset your phone to factory default by either typing *#7370#
OR
Holding down 3 * green whilst switching it on.

Be wary when restoring any backup you have, being this will restore anything that your Lifeblog contains, reverting the problem.

And a final solution
Download "Y" browser here
Install it on your phone via your Nokia PC Suite.
Launch the YBrowser application (probably from new folder called DrJukka.com):
Locate the C: drive and open it:
Locate the Data folder:
Locate the Lifeblog folder:
Select Options, File and then Delete
Once the folder is deleted launch Lifeblog and select Update Timeline.

Hope one if not all of these helped =)

I keep getting a message saying not enough storage space. delete things to make room. but i have an sd card and i was wondering if i could move the majority of my stuff onto the sd card so i have more room...

your phone's memory is congested
try to remove unnecessary files one by one, dont try to delete them all immediately as itll cause your unit to run slow

you can also check if your unit has a master reset
bring it back the way it was before =]

Nokia N80 "memory low message"

I don't know if there's a certain part of the memory reserved for messages, but that could be the problem. You've mentioned that you've deleted lots of things, but not mentioned deleting messages. If you've not deleted all of your received messages, give that a go and then switch the phone off. Switch it back on again and hopefully that'll have done something.

Another idea would be to clear the cache in the browser, which can hog up lots of free space after a while.

Hope one of these might help.
