I have someone logging into my Facebook account almost everyday and maybe three times or more. What can I do so I don’t have to be changing my password all the time?

Hello, Kathy -

1. Establish a new, separate email address. Use an email provider which is different than the one you currently use . . . Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo,Mail.com, etc. Make sure you use a strong password for that new email account and write it down somewhere and keep it in a safe place, in case you forget the password..

2. Open your Facebook account (your current email address + the latest Facebook password you established) and choose Settings.

Edit your Facebook Account Contact email address to the new one you just established and make it your Primary Email Address. Plus remove the email address you previously used as your Primary Email Address.

If you have a cell phone, make sure your cell phone number is provided as an alternate contact.

Save those changes.

3. Then, change your Facebook Password. You should see Security and Login in the left sidebar. Click or tap on that. Follow the on-screen instructions for changing your Password. Make your new Facebook password a strong one. Write it down, along with your new FB login / ID and keep it in a safe location so that you can refer to it if you forget it. Save that change.

4. Log out of your FB account.

5. Log back into your FB account, with the new ID/email address and new Password. NOTE: DO NOT allow your FB login and password to be saved through your browser and other devices. Saving that login information makes it easier for someone else to get into your account.

Only time will tell if the changes you make, as I have described above, will keep out anyone who was logging into your FB account.

Best wishes.

Tips to Find Unauthorized Activity on Your Email Account

Do you suspect that your email account is under attack? Do you want to maintain total security of your email account and make it 100% hack proof? Well, Some times our email account might have got hacked and we may not be aware of that. We may believe that our email account is safe, but in reality our private and confidential information may be falling into the hands of a third person.
Here are some signs of unauthorized activity on an email account.
1. Your new emails are marked as Read even if you’ve not read them.
2. Your emails are moved to Trash or even permanently deleted without your notice.
3. Your emails are being forwarded to a third party email address (check your settings->forwarding).
4. Your secondary email address is changed.
If you come across any of the above activities on your email account, then it is a clear indication that your email account is hacked.
Additional Security Features in Gmailto ensure the Safety of your Account
Gmail provides an additional security feature to protect your email account through the means of IP address logging. That is, Gmail records your IP addressevery time you login to your Gmail account. So, if a third party getsaccess to your account then even his/her IP is also recorded. To see alist of recordedIP address, scroll down to the bottom of your Gmail account and you’ll see something like this.

146b5b6.jpg

You can see from the above figure that Gmail shows the IP address of last login (last account activity). You can click on Details to see the IP address of your last 5 activities. If you find that the IP listed in the logs doesn’t belong to you, then you can suspect unauthorized activity.
Steps to be carried out to stop unauthorized activity on your email account
If you feel/suspect that your account is hacked then you must immediately take the actions mentioned below
1. Change your Password
2. Change your security question.
2. Remove any third party email address (if any) to which your account is set to forward emails.
3. Make sure that you can access the email account of your secondary email address.
4. Also change you secondary email password and security question.
This ensures that your account is safe from future attacks.

We changed our email address so how do we change that in our account? It was [email protected] and now it is [email protected]

Login to your paypal account then go to My ACCOUNT then move your mouse to Profile then click
Add/Edit Email. Click add email and enter [email protected] then choose that email and make it primary. After that go to your gmail email and check if there is a confirmation email. You might want also to go to your juno email and check if you still need to do extra verification. If none that you are good to go. You don't need to delete your juno email as you need it for login in to paypal. All future transaction your new email will be used.
