Samsung Refrigerator MODEL RF263AEBP/XAA. Freezer is Cold But Refrigerator is Warm

If the freezer is cold enough and the icemaker is cycling that only leaves the inlet valve. replace the valve and enjoy the ice.
If the freezer is cold enought and the icemaker does not cycle, then you have a bad icemaker. Simply replace the icemaker and viola.

On some refrigerators there is a chute that lets cold air from the freezer section into the refrigerator side. If this fails to open than the refrigerator will not chill.
Also a refrigerator low on charge will act like yours.

This could be caused by several different reasons so I need you to check a few things. If you want to know right off what is causing the temperature symptoms you will need to answer my questions. Can you tell me how hot the top of compressor feels? Too hot to keep your hand there? The fan motors are they working strong without obstruction? Can you feel the copper lines/pipe that exit the compressor for one line being hot and the other cold? Have same model rs267lbsh/XAA and fix refrigerator. What I did was take off cover where evaporator is there a wire called defrost temperature sensor that goes bad I changed that sensor and my fridge is now working .if u need to ask me question please email me at [email protected]

Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then checkout the last two tips.

Chances are if they are getting cool but not cold-

1) the evaporator fan in the freezer is not running
2) Defrost heater has failed
3) Defrost sensor has failed
4) Defrost timer/refrigerator control has failed.

Check for ice build-up on the back wall of the freezer. If there is ice, unplug or turn the unit off for 6-8 hours with the doors open (put any food in a cooler with ice to maintain). Note water may come out of the refrigerator.
Plug the unit back in or turn it back on, close the doors, and check temperature after a couple of hours of operation. If all OK, you will need to have the above tested, or, if you know how to use a multimeter and can read a schematic/wiring diagram, I can instruct you on how to check the above.
