Game Feezes After my son has been playing the game, it suddenly freezes and then the screen goes black. I have to restart the computer and try again, with no luck. I am running windows XP Pro. Help.

There is a possibility that your computer may have been too hot which was why it froze. You can also try reinstalling your gpu driver as well as try to close down applications in the background because if you have too many things opened in the background at once it can slow things down.
What game is this? COD4? What system? PC? X360? PS3? If it's a PC game, then either the game is not responding, orthere is something wrong with your system. If it's X360, try restarting the console and try again. Same thing goes for the PS3. Restart and try again.
are you sure that its your screen? try another screen if it does it. if not, then try using a differant res and refresh rate.

I would say, your game is heating up your computer by useing stuff that usually dont get used. try removing the cover and carefully cleaning all heat sync's so it can breath.
if the problem continues, please report back, with more info, on what game and what model system you have with operating system. also if you added a video card.
