Create a new account with administrator privileges (you can call it Administrator). Don't set a password for it. save the changes and log off or reboot.
Log on to the Administrator account, look for the users configuration or account management. Delete your old account, the one that has your name. Also change the name of your computer. Explore the drive in search of personal documents you might have stored in it: Passwords to websites, E-mail address in mail clients, favorite sites.
Delete any file that may be left in your old account.

Unable to get satellite connection for nuvi1390

Hello,

There is a possibility that the antenna is defective or another component of the device. You may need to reach out to Garmin Technical Support for repairs or replacement, however, you can try the steps below to try and resolve the issue.

-Perform a hard reset (this will delete any settings you have on the device. After you perform the hard reset, you want to put the GPS unit outside for about 30 minutes or until it acquires a signal. Afterwards, you want to hook it up to your computer and make sure all the software is up to date.

To perform a hard reset, unplug it from any power source and turn it off. Press and hold the bottom right of the GPS screen continue to hold while you power on the device. Once it is powered on, you should get a prompt asking you if you wish to delete the data. You want to press Yes. Next, leave it outside in a safe place to acquire a Signal. If you want to backup your favorites, see below.

You can backup your favorites by doing the following.

In order to back up your Favorites:
1. Using a USB data cable, plug the device into a computer
2. Double-click the My Computer icon (Mac users can skip this step)
3. Double-click the nuvi drive (Mac users can find this on their desktop)
4. Double-click the Garmin folder1
5. Double-click the GPX folder
6. Copy the current.gpx file
7. Paste this file to another location on your computer
Once you save a copy of the GPX file on your computer, you have successfully backed up the waypoints within your device. Now you can RESET it.
To restore these Favorites on your device:
1. Using a USB data cable, plug the device into a computer
2. Double-click the My Computer icon (Mac users can skip this step)
3. Double-click the nuvi drive (Mac users can find this on their desktop)
4. Double-click the Garmin folder1
5. Double-click the GPX folder
6. Copy the current.gpx file saved to your computer
7. Paste this file to the GPX folder
8. Unplug the device from the computer
At this time the favorites you backed up should be restored on your device.

I am transferring images to my computer, which I have done before. Now I am getting the message "Save folder not found?" Have I moved it? Do I need to create it? How? Where? Please help....

My solution is to unistall your current canon software that holds 15 canon components in your computer. You will find them under system task and select remove programs. After you have uninstalled the program, reinstall your "Canon Digital Camera Disk" and follow their prompts. Now you should be able to transfer images again as per normal.
I have answered this question in detail under another question postered by "whitecar631" under canon "save folder not found" canon sd1100.
This worked for me, but I don"t know how to prevent it happening again. I do know the day I lost all "my pictures", I had previously deleted a large file in my documents. I also experienced "save folder not found" when I tried to transfer images from my canon ixus 100.
I was lucky enough that I had all of my original SD Flash Media Cards, so could transfer all my photos again. I have since put all my photos into labelled folders instead of dates and images.
Hope this helps, it appears to be a problem in the canon program. Joyce
