WHY DOESNT THE DOOR CLOSE - Arctic Air Refrigerators

make sure door is closed and then if that doesnt do it, open door and look for where the door contacts at closing you will see a little metal table that is like a ground sometimes when a dryer door is closed or slammed the tab might get pulled backwards with the opening of the door again adjust the tab again so contact with door when shut makes contact if that doesnt do it, check your breaker and see if the breaker was tripped too

There's a small spring that makes it closed.

remove interior door card and inspect door handle rod to lock mechanism make sure it is connected both ends

One of the tabs on the bottom of the drop panel (the lower metal door that folds out) is bent incorrectly. Try bending it a little which every direction is needed to close the drop panel.

Do not break it, there are no replacement parts for that brand.

there is a 'one way' door on this unit that sometimes gets stuck in the electrode when it doesnt close properly. there are two things you can try.
lift the electrode and using a bent wire, try to close the door (on intake side). if this doesnt work, try reversing the water flow from the pump to close the door.

try oiling and greasing the runners and if this doesnt work renew the motor

dis-connect your battery for 30 seconds to do a switch reset on your window, when you reconnect the batt your window will go down, open and close rear door to check lock functions ok first. close rear door and using key or switch inside car close window fully with out stopping, this should reset the window.

there is most likely a button sensor that is stuck - if you don't open the door much - that will do it - try spraying WD40 on the door components along the door edge where the latch is - also try wd40 on the latch inside the door -- open and close it say 35 times and after 10 or so it should work - but still keep on til 35 - then do that 10 times a month -

ok umm.. if it doesnt open why would you have to close it in the first place? and if it doesnt close why would you have to open it? lay off the booze. lol

inside light on when door is closed??? that sounds like a bad door switch. it doesnt recognize the door shut so it wont start, replace the door switch
