The default is to start a new clip every time you press the stop button, but in settings you might be able to tell the camera to continue with the same clip provided you press record again with a set time. Not sure why you want to do this though - it's much easier to edit using small clips than very large ones.

SOURCE: How do you download video clips from a Canon FS100 camcorder?

the easier way its to go on the actual folder and copy /paste ...but ...the actual way ...is to select it just like a picture..and then download....I believe you used only the automatic download until now...but if you cancel that ...it will either open the folder prompt to ask you what to do ...just like you insert a cd...and there select open folder...and copy manually ...or ...open the manager ...select import from device ..and there look for the folders(browse) where the videos are ..it is usually a different one on the card..
...also if you cancel the initial download....you will find the camera storage (SDcard) into the My computer ...as a removable device ......act with it as any other moving from folder to folder...beware if you select cut ...this will remove from the card permanently ...the file

SOURCE: When I transfer videos from canon fs100 into my

I also am facing the same problem. Even the videos can be played in PC, then don't give any sound at all. And I have no idea about it too. Really stuck at that point. Another thing is; how to disconnect the camcorder from PC although I remove the hard disk of it via safely remove, as it always warn "PC connected, WHILE THE CAMCORDER IS CONNECTED TO A PC DO NOT DISCONNECT THE USB CABLE OR POWER SOURCE, CANNOT TURN OFF POWER OR CHANGE MODES" in its display LCD. So, What I am gonna do???? Actually for transfering the images and videos from your camcorder to PC is; you need to install PIXELA ImageMixer 3 SE first, which is aldy in your kit. Then, you can edit and browse the videos and images from your camcorder.
P.S: If somebody knows how to solve these, please share the solutions. Thanks! Am I wrong to purchase that Canon FS200 because of its external audio jack(whereas others don't have that access), compact design and reasonable pricing ?

Does the Eclipse Fit Clip Plus have resume play functions?

I have just discovered that if you pause the player and then let it shut off on its own then press pause again later to wake up the unit and again it will pick up where you were. Now, I don't know if it uses any battery life when it's sleeping so will just have to experiment there. But the key here seems to be NOT actually turning it off. Turning it off will reset it to song #1 every single time. Which is really obnoxious.

I just bought a used PDM510. Most everything seems to be in working order, however, I can't seem to enter record mode or hear audio through line inputs. I'm not sure if the machine is broken or if I'm...

to hear the audio fold back in prerecording mode you will need a tape that still has a security tab in it if not put some tape over the whole or even block the hole up

supply the tape unit with a good signal and then hold down the pause button and press the record and play button at the same time. you will then be able to monitor the sound you are about to record. use headphones as this to stops background noise in your ears and allows you to focus on the sound, "its another world inside your cans" adjust the input level until just peaking into the red. when you are ready to record leave the record button alone and the stop button and the play button just release the pause button and away you go. to stop press stop to stop recording say to cut out an advert or something just press pause.

Hello, my name is Daniel Busa with Dish Network customer service, I reviewed your question I have seen this before, t sounds like its possibly a bad hard drive try unplugging your reciever for ten seconds if it's persisting then we may need to replace it.

Pause/resume function in analogue, manual recording mode

This player has essentially the same guts as my Pioneer PDR-509, so this is what it means...

'Repair' means the player lost power in mid-recording without commiting the track memory to a table of contents. It would likely take up to 40 minutes for the player to reconstruct it from the disk.

There is NO reason the player need be turned off (if that's where it took you) for a track pause.

Just press Pause, flip the LP over and hit Play or Pause again when you wish to continue recording.

Perhaps you don't know how to Finalize the disc either. It's not that intuitive. Press Finalize, after a while it will display a time, like 4:07. That means how long it will take to do the operation. Now press Pause and it will count down to 0:00 and be done. Then you can play it on any other CD player.

Cannot operate svr-925 digital recorder, need manual

How to Record:
1. Make sure HOLD switch (on side of unit with pocket clip) is set to off position (slide to right is off - to left would be hold)
2. For best results set unit with mic(rophone) which is on top of unit toward sound source and press REC/STOP button (Top button on front of unit just below LCD display). Recording will begin and will be indicated on LCD display.
> Red Record LED will be on and the message number, recording time will be displayed on the LCD.
3. To stop recording, press REC/STOP button one time.
* If no other buttons are pressed within 1 minute at stop position, it will power off automatically.
4. Pause during recording by simply pressing MODE/PAUSE button- press button again to resume.

There is a Voice Operated System (VOS) Recording button on left side also. You can record with voice activation to conserve recording space but I have found that you lose a portion of the recorded sound as it activates and if there is no sound for a very few minutes the unit powers off and you will get nothing further recorded. I recomend just keeping VOS in off position.

5. To erase a recording: Select the message number you want to erase and while it is stopped (the message number will appear in LCD with the length of recording showing also)
Press and hold the ERASE button until the LCD begins blinking "ERASE" then, while it's blinking simply press the erase button again and the recording will be erased.

6. To play back a recorded message find your message by "toggling" the switch on the right side of the unit that says INDEX. That switch is the fast forward/reverse play etc. To Play simply push the switch in. This button/switch takes a little practice to use but the Play portion is straight forward. Use the front buttons to pause and stop during playback.

Hope this helps.

How do I pause while recording?

As far as I can tell, and yes the documentation is skimpy, when you press the 'record/play' button the video recording pauses. Make sure you press the video icon button, not the 'record/play' button to get it started again. If you press the 'record/play' button, it goes into a 'play back' mode.

Hope this helps...
