Start by removing the bobbin, and rewinding the thread. Then check for burrs or roughness on the bobbin and bobbin case. Finally, ensure that the position finger for the bobbin case correctly enters the notch in the positioning plate(attached to the underside of the throat plate). If none of that works, you may have a bent center stud. Better take it in to the repair shop.

SOURCE: Brother Sewing Machine model:CS8150 bobbin thread problems

The top of the machine is not threaded correctly. First raise the presserfot then rethread the machine. Bottom looping is usually caused by a lack of top tension. There could allso be a bur on the hook.

SOURCE: Upper thread wraps around bobbin mechanism, while sewing

IT PROBABLY IS THREADED INCORRECTLY. GO SLOWLY BY THE DIAPHRAGM AND MAKE SURE IT IS THREADED CORRECTLY. ALSO MAKE SURE SPOOL PIN HOLDERS ARE IN PLACE THAT HELPS TO GUIDE THE THREAD CORRECTLY.

SOURCE: can't tighten clutch on Kenmore zig zag sewing machine.

The clutch has fallen off the shaft. Remove the very small screw in the clutch release screw to remove the clutch release. Place the clutch(round thing with ears on it) back on the shaft with the center ears pointing towards the outside. Put the clutch release screw back on. Tighten it to make sure it works
properly. Put the small screw back in the clutch release screw and test it again. If it will not tighten or release properly, remove the clutch ,rotate it180 degrees and try it again. This should solve your problem.

SOURCE: Sears Kenmore Sewing Machine Model 385. 1254180 Bobbin Won't Wind

The winding sound is the rubber O-ring against the spinning pulley (back of hand wheel) - do not let this continue, it will wear out the O-ring.

I had the same problem and I found the shaft bushing of the winder dry and needed lubed. Use oil or spray lithium grease and it should work fine. Spin the bobbin shaft by hand (not the hand wheel) to get it freed up after oiling.

You can oil from the top and should take off the side case to clean the excess oil from the O-ring. The shaft bushing is a tight fit and any dry oil will get sticky and prevent winding.

What can I do to unstick my bobbin and bobbin case . It comes only half way out 880 Bernina

If your bobbin and bobbin case are stuck on your 880 Bernina sewing machine, there could be several potential causes for this issue. Here are some possible solutions to unstick the bobbin and bobbin case:
  1. Check for any debris or lint that may be blocking the bobbin and bobbin case. You can try using a small brush or toothpick to remove any debris or lint that may be blocking the movement of the bobbin and bobbin case.
  2. Check the tension on the bobbin case. The tension on the bobbin case should be adjusted to match the type and weight of the thread you are using. If the tension is too tight, it may be preventing the bobbin and bobbin case from moving freely. You can try adjusting the tension on the bobbin case using the tension dial or screw on the case.
  3. Check the position of the bobbin case. The bobbin case should be positioned correctly in the sewing machine to allow the bobbin and bobbin case to move freely. If the bobbin case is not properly positioned, it may be preventing the bobbin and bobbin case from moving. You can try repositioning the bobbin case in the sewing machine according to the instructions in the sewing machine manual.
  4. Check the condition of the bobbin and bobbin case. If the bobbin and bobbin case are old or damaged, they may be stuck or difficult to move. You can try replacing the bobbin and bobbin case with new ones to see if this fixes the problem.
If none of these solutions work, it may be necessary to disassemble the sewing machine and clean or repair the internal parts that are preventing the bobbin and bobbin case from moving freely. This is a complex task that should only be performed by a qualified sewing machine repair technician.

Bobbin case on my ce10131 continental sewing machine will not move when I turn the hand wheel. Manual does not cover this. I don't believe it is the tension. Can I fix it? Do I buy a new one? Do I send it...

Bobbin cases don't move, they are fixed and are just there to hold and feed out thread from the bobbin. The Shuttle Hook circles around the bobbin and picks up the thread from the needle. Take a look at both of the videos in this link Camron.

My baby lock lock up while sewing the needle want move up and down it is a grace it says error 6 can you help me thank you

Sewing Machine: Needle won't move
A disengaged clutch, broken drive belt or internal drive gear failure can prevent the needle from moving. Engage the hand wheel clutch if you have it disengaged for bobbin winding. If the needle won't move with the clutch engaged, unplug the sewing machine and check the drive belt.

Singer touch & Sew machine model 648, the bobbin mechanism wont move all together. I need help!

The bobbin push button (button next to bobbin under the throat plate) must be in the sew position. When it is in the wind ( down to left) the machine will not sew. You need to push the button to the right to release it.

Is the bobbin supposed to move on the Bernette Deco 600?

The bobbin will move only when the thread is being pulled. The problem with your machine is that the timing has missed aligned. It will need service. 99% of all sewing machine misalign due to continued use.

My needle is moving but instead of sewed fabric i just have fabric with holes in it

try changing the needle
try rethreading the sewing machine top and bobbin
make sure the bobbin is inserted into the bobbin case correctly if it's a top loading bobbin
if it's a side or front loading bobbin make sure the bobbin case is inserted correctly
it also could be a timing problem that a repair shop would have to fix..
