How can i turn on a sanyo pro xtrax multiverse projector without remote

SOURCE: Sanyo PRO Xtrax Multiverse Projector powers on but no reflection appears

broken lamp?? check for little cracks in the bulb bar.
If lamp is discoloured( dark grey), overheating is cause, no cooling after using the PJ.

VGA to HDMI cables don't work. They're a con. VGA is an analogue signal. HDMI is digital. It's not possible to convert from one to the other with just a bit of wire.
