Signal light question: if unit damaged, will it work with a bulb change? '94 Honda Del Sol.

Most likely the impact of the collision has broken the globe filament. I had many years ago the whole back of one of my vehicles smashed in with missing smashed broken covers on the brake and signal lights. I replaced the globes and used cellophane and gaffa tape as it had to show the correct color until I could get the back of the car fixed.
You could use clear or correctly colored cellophane if the signal cover is missing and use gaff tape or packing tape - taped at the edges on to the car body to seal it until you can get it fixed to protect it from water ..

I have a H27A optoma projector, glass inside has broken, globe is not broken projector does not work and fan and globe do not come on

Might as well unplug it from the mains and carefully remove the cover and look inside to see where all the damaged optical bits are. Then you can figure if it's worth fixing it. Sounds like a fuse or overtemperature switch may be stopping the unit from operating anyway.

How to replace heahlight bulb in a 1994 Audi What bulb do i purchase? How do i release the clip that holds the light unit in place?

I replaced my globes not so long back.
The metal clip you simply push down. Replacing the left light is challenging as the air intake is in the way but its not impossible. After removing the clip there is a plastic cap. Remove it.
Then remove the cable that feeds power. You should be able to see the rear of the 'globe'. There is another spring loaded metal clip holding the 'globe' in place. Push the two ends of the clip together to remove this clip. The globe should be free now. Remeber the globe go in a specific way, so take note. I bought to Halogen globes for my Audi as these immitted a stronger beam. Please, whatever you do DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW GLOBES GLASS. The natural oil from your fingers will impact the lifespan of these and you'll have to replace these again. Remember to also reallign the beams.

I cannot remove light cover on ceiling fan to replace globe

There are usually small screws around the outside of the globe that screw into a recess on the globe with a rubber ring around it to keep the screws from hitting the glass.

How do i replace the lamp on the kf 50we610

Sorry, they misinformed you!

On this model Sony the lamp access is located to the side of the set. You will see a small hook you can push down with you finger releasing the lamp outer cover. There might also be 1 screw to remove the panel.

Now you will see the lamp inner cover. It has a grey handle in the middle of it - to dark to see down there, get a flash light. Remove this by turning it counter clock wise. Now pull the cover out. Note the chip on the one corner of the cover. It can only fit back the same way.

Now you will find a slot you can fit your finger into. Pull this down and pull the old globe out.

FYI - If the globe has burnt leaving a white discharge behind inside the globe - great, your TV is healthy. If it blew with a black discharge I would suggest you take a hear dryer on cold setting and blown as much dirt from inside the globe cavity as possible. also try not to switch your TV on and off to often. If you leave the room and you know you will be back within a hour, leave the set on. You will much easier reach 8000 hours of globe life. 8000 Hours is possible, I have seen it before.

Now place the new globe into the socket. Just push it in until you feel the locking mechanism engage. Return the inner lamp cover. Turn the grey lever clockwise.

Now all that is left is to clip the outside cover into place. Put the screw back if there was one.

If you have to remove more than 1 screw - you have gone too far.

P.S There are certain lamps that does not have a clip, but rather a HEX key screw. You will receive this hex key if you bought a genuine Sony globe in the box.

Good luck.

Need to change glass globe in hampton bay fan

I had the exact same problem. To solve it, I had a friend hold the area of the fan that the globe screws into. I wore rubber dish gloves to get a good grip and pushed up slightly on the globe as I turned counter-clockwise. My friend held the other part and turned clockwise a little as well. It took a lot of pressure for it to finally come loose and then we just turned it about another 90 degrees and the globe slips right out of the groove.

I couldn't believe how hard this was to do.
