The manual doesn't mention anything about removing the back panel or doing DIY repairs. But you can phone them and they will give you advice for free.

On the remote you have to press computer key !

being an unknown model of toshiba satelite laptop the F4 key needs to be pressed to switch windows video mode to duplicate .

Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours.

If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

So you lost your remote to change the input to your vhs is on the side of the tv. FIRST turn on your VHS then hit the input button which is on the right side of the tv it is the sixth button. Plug in the VGA cable to the monitor, and to the computer.

The monitor automatically determines which inputs have a valid signal source.

You can also set the monitor's source of video input to VGA, by going to the On Screen Display menu, and the Switch Video Input option.

Thought that was going to be easy but Polaroid no longer have the manuals available for download on their site. Typical.
