Movie stuck n apple macbook

Hi
I assume you are saying there is a disc stuck inside your machine?

• Have you tried: using the eject button located upper right on your keyboard? Hold it down for 4-5 seconds.

• dragged the Disc-image to the trash?

• if this fails you can try using the Disc tool located in your Applications folder.

• If all else fails, try restarting the machine while holding down the mouse button. This will eject discs. After the disc is ejected let go of the mouse button and the machine starts normally.

• If even this fails you will have to try manually - the "straighten paper-clip method" There is a mechanical lever at the very side of the hole where you insert the disc that can be used to push the disc out. I would reccomend to check your manual for further instructions on this.

Hope this helps

A disc is stuck in my dell laptop

Please provide the model number. Also, assuming you're talking about a CD stuck in the drive. There should be a tiny pin hole on the CD/DVD drive bezel. Unplug laptop and remove battery. Then stick a tiny pin in that hole -- should release the catch that keeps the optical drive bay closed. You can then open the drive and remove the disc.

Dvd is stuck in my ACER laptop how can I get it out

The Acer 5610 has an emergency eject hole to the right of the eject button on the right side of the computer. Find a paperclip and unfold it (or small allan wrench), push the end of the paper clip into the hole until you feel pressure. Press firmly and the optical disc tray should come slightly out of the machine. Grab and pull the tray out (gently). This should work even without power to the drive on any machine tray optical drive, if the tray mechanism is undamaged.

For a slot-loading optical drive, it's a bit trickier. You can try sliding another object into the slot and using it to pry or lift the stuck disc. The safest option is to use another optical disc or credit card sized item and double-sided sticky tape. Put a piece of the tape on the item and then remove the paper from the other side of the sticky tape. Slide the item into the drive with the sticky tape towards the stuck disc (down for most computers). Once far enough into the drive, lower your item and press the tape firmly onto the stuck disc. Lift up and try to pull the stuck disc up and out of the drive.

I hope this helps.

My PC won't allow me to right click to choose the eject option for a CD. I want to know if there is a way to remove the CD manually.

The DVD drive itself has a small horizontal 'eject' button that you can press to eject the disc.
If the button fails the disc is stuck however the DVD drive will have a small hole near the eject button- about 2mm in diameter. Straighten a paperclip or similar and push into the hole until the disc drive mechanism releases and opens.

Thanks,

3. Use the stiff letter opener to pry the battery out.
4. The goop you find is probably dried-up coffee, or some energy drink...
