I want ti install JDK version 1.5

1.Remove the previous version of Java installed on your computer by selecting "Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs" from your computer's Start menu. Then, choose the Java program in the program listing and select the remove icon.

2. Uninstall Quicktime from the Add/Remove Programs menu after Java is uninstalled. In past versions of Quicktime, it has been known to interfere with new Java JDK installations.

3.Download JDK 1.5 from the link listed in the Resources section of this article.

4.Choose the installer program after download is complete and choose the default menu options displayed by the installer to install the JDK to your computer. Restart your computer after installation is complete and you will have JDK 1.5 installed on your computer.

Java folder deleted from c: drive. and when trying to uninstall from control panel it shows that "fatal error during installation"

It seems like you may have deleted the Java folder before uninstalling it.
The OS is obviously upset about that.
Reinstall Java to correct the error and run CHKDSK/F to remove any loose files. Then uninstall Java if you need to.
Hope that helps.

How do I uninstall omnipage se from my laptop? I have tried going to the control panel and clicking on ''add/remove programs'' and when I click on remove program it starts to uninstall then a window comes...

Use Revo Uninstaller. It will work like the Add/remove programs however it will forcefully remove the programs and also will let you remove its registry items of the Omnipage.

Java says fatal error when i try to install on computer. i tried to copy it from external drive on to computer.

I would go to control panel, then "add or remove software". Find Java and then completely remove it. Then go to www.sun.com and redownload the java software and install it again.

Fatal error during installation

First u must make sure to close and exit all the applications that are using the resource of JDK.
Method 1: disable the auto load of JDK on machine start up from System Configuration Utility. Then reboot and try to uninstall again from the Add or Remove Programs.
Method 2: reinstall JDK and immediately uninstall it after the installation done. Or maybe u will found the uninstall function during the JDK setup.
Method 3: can try to use the cleaner software like CCleaner to uninstall the JDK application.
