What brand of pump do you have with the pool? It should have a manufacturer name, or model number, located somewhere on the pump. Look for a sticker on the pump basket area or motor. You will be looking for the pool company/pump maker name, NOT the manufacturer of the motor.

Many pool equipment companies do not make the motors that go on the pump. AO Smith and Centurion are common motor manufacturers. Once you find out the name, or model of the pump, many companies have Owner's Manuals online. For Sta-Rite and Pentair Owner's Manuals, follow the link below:

http://www.pentairpool.com/techinfo/datasheets2.php?d=2

If you still can not find an Owner's Manual online, then you need to call the company and see if they will send one out to you. If you need more assistance, just let me know and I will help you look for one.

WHAT AND HOW DO YOU VACUUM INTEX ABOVE GROUND SALT WATER POOL

I used the manual vacuum that came with the pool during the summer because I actually got in the pool and vacuumed), but ultimately, now that it is cold, I went to the pool store and bought a much bigger vacuum (that still hooks up to the water hose) and then a longer pole. It's just too darn cold to get in the water during the winter. :-) Hope this helps!

My water was crystal clear when delivered. I added the salt, ran the filter pump for 24 hrs as instructed. Turned on my Intex saltwater pump and within an hour water is green. Cannot find anything on...

I am not impressed at all with these salt water chlorinators.Shock the water and keep the filter running next day add a powdered chlorine.filter still running. check the balance with test strip in about four hours. If chlorine level is good start vacuming the algee off the bottom of the pool. Now throw away the salt generator and stay with the chlorine packs every week to two weeks continue to monitor with test strips

Low salt alarm on Intex system

so what does the test strip say. Should be as close to 3000ppm as possible anything close and under 2700ppm will trigger a low salt also you must run filter only for 24 hours to thouroughly mix the salt before trying to turn on the generator

The pump is assembled as this photo shows. This is my pool. I have an owners manual so if you list the size of your pool I can provide information on amount of salt required and hours of operation each day. 8e665e2.jpg

My intex saltwater system green light then low salt light

You need to add salt to the water. How much depends on what size pool you have. Your owner's manual will tell you exactly how much to add when the low salt light comes on. On my Intex I would need to add 35 lbs.
