Jura S7 says fill tank but tank full

Machine was unused for couple of months. Now after warming up trying to brew it makes normal (although labored) noises but no coffee comes out. The display then says "Fill Tank" but there is water in the tank. The dry coffee grounds are disposed in the grounds container. The steam and the hot water on demand works normal with steam and hot water coming out.

SOURCE: Jura E9 grinder spins but does not grind

I had a similar problem, and solved it by turning the grinder by hand against resistance. Apparently the grinder wasn't really turning during the cycle and needed to be cleared. If your beans are "hopping" this may be a different problem.

Testimonial: "Grinder is turning but old bean oil is clogging it. Stirring beans on next brewing after drying the grinder was also customer services recommendation"

SOURCE: Jura S9 Capresso Machine "Fill System" Message

I think you use too fine grist on the grinder, or the coffeebeans are really dark and moisty. Try to set the grinder to a coarser grist, for dark roasted coffee it`s not recomended to to use any finer than medium grist. However, the sieve in the brewing unit could be clogged, and you need to clean this out. Put a finger up in the brew unit just along the grounds blade, you will probably find a lot of old fine coffeeground up the. Clean it up as best as possible, and then try to make coffee with coarser grist. If this helps, it`s smart to run a cleaning program to be on the safe side.

If nothing of this helps, you don`t have a choice, you have to send it for service, then the brew unit has to be dissasembled and cleaned from the inside.

SOURCE: My Jura Capresso Impressa E8 is leaking water

I have the same problem with my E9 and I have traced it to the diaphragm unit that is just distal to the pump itself. Apparently, the diaphragm is secured with a steel band (not stainless since it is rusty) that may hold seals or O-rings that break down. You can observe it leaking when pressure applied during brewing. The question is: can a new unit be ordered and if so, where?

Jura Impressa C5 all lights are flashing, Cant descale or clean. What do I do?

When all the lights on your Jura Impressa C5 are flashing, it typically means that the machine is experiencing a malfunction or error. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes reset the machine and clear the error.
  2. Check the water tank and make sure it is filled to the appropriate level. If the water tank is empty or low, the machine may not be able to function properly.
  3. Check to see if the brew group is properly seated in the machine. If the brew group is not properly seated, the machine may not be able to start a brewing cycle.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that there is a more serious issue with the machine that may require professional repair. In that case, you may want to contact Jura customer service or a professional appliance repair service for further assistance.

Have you run a decal recently? This normally happens when a small particle (normally) an undesolved piece of the decal tablet is stuck in the flow meter, or sensor.
You can try and run warm water through the system and after about half a tank it should be sorted out.

First, I'm not JURA technician. But I have worked on similar table top "Super Automatics" You should call your vendor or the MFR for service. Especially if it's still under warranty. There are no customer serviceable parts in this machine.
*** the following is for information only ***
- Water not getting to machine or not sensing that the water tank is already filled.
* There usually some type of float near to middle of the water tank. It's usually white or colored plastic. This 'float' needs to move freely up-down to 'sense' the filled tank. clean the tank and shake it -note the movement of this float. It will need further cleaning if it's stuck (or you will have to replace tank if it's crudded up).
* Re-install tank and fill with filtered water. Turn machine off, count to 15 then turn on again. This usually turns on pump to add water to inner tank. If this does not happen then there is a CPU problem. If it does hums for 5-10 seconds then goes off but no heating then the pump may have an air bubble in line. Try the turn off and on method several times (up to 5) to get the water flowing. If it's still not working then there is a clog in the pump and will need service and/or replacement.
* Since this is a table top machine in which you fill the water tank. Try to use filtered (bottled ok) water. Do Not use Distilled or 100% pure water as this type of water will eat out the metals from your machine! Some places use a water softener as it tends to be better for the machine long term (years).
* Still got problems? Check with vendor or MFR for service or replacement. Most machines of this type do not have serviceable parts or adjustments.

PS: I've noted this tank also uses a water filter (which is probably dry after sitting around for a year as you mentioned.) you will probably have to flush out the air in the filter prior to this unit's pump to work properly. I found a youtube vid that may help:

It's all plugged with 'lime scale'. That's the white stuff that builds up from hard water. Regular vinegar run through at least two cycles will clear it, then a couple with fresh water to rinse it. That will bring it back to normal flow!

This is normal, after each cycle the brew unit will empty the drainvalve for excess water, this will ensure that the water used for each new cup is fresh from the watertank.
