How do you remove the propeller part from the motor in order to replace the motor

Hello there! If you have replaced the belt and it is still slipping off, you may be not have the right belt for your vacuum. This unit takes a flat belt and a v-belt. Make sure you are replacing the belts with Genuine Hoover Parts. I have included the links below where you may go to order the belts specific to your cleaner.

Hi.... it just pulls off.... it will come off vary hard

my son had a few different air hogs helicopters and we were able to replace the propeller on them.you should be able to order a replacement one from airhogs website.goodluck

When the propeller shaft is removed from the extension housing, immediately install the

SST into the extension housing to prevent oil leakage

1. Align the marks. And install the rear propeller shaft.

Tightening torque: 49-59 N.m (5.0-6.0 m-kg, 36-43 ft-lb)

2. Install the center bearing support assembly.

Tightening torque: 36-53 N.m 3.7-5.4 m-kg, 27-39 ft-lb)

3. Align the marks, and install the front propeller shaft.

Tightening torque: 49-59 N.m (5.0-6.0 m-kg, 36-43 ft-lb)

I am assuming this is a Hitachi EX40-2 mini-excavator. Two tests that need to be run. First is the propel motor pressure equal to both propels? Secondly, but possibly more important is to check the slow propel motor for excessive case drain. This would indicate the propel motor is worn out. Find in your hitachi service manual the accepted amount of case drain for that model, disconnect the case drain line from the propel motor and cap the line. Install another hose to the case drain port with the other end in a 5 gallon bucket. Start machine and run propel for 30 seconds. Shut off and check amount of oil in bucket as compared to acceptable amount of leakage from machine spec book. All this does is measure the amount of leakage past the propel motor slippers, which gives an indication of excessive wear tolerances. Replace propel motor if needed.

that is a coupler that is inside the propeller housing easy to replace.are you replacing motor only or complete pump and what brands

remove the nut and the prop will come right off. Just be careful not to loose the shear pin.

we have located a spring down deep just below the grinding propeller it was twisted and unwound rubbing ageinst the top of the grinder we have removed the pesky sping and are ordering a new one motor is not making any noise now that we have removed this spring. hope this helps you too...

You can order the lever for the transmission on line for about $16.00. It comes as a cable and lever assembly. I just took the top cover off and replaced the lever without doing the cable. The reason ours broke is because we lifted the vacuum by the handle without the self propel bing turned off, this pulls on the actuator and breaks it.
