Copier does not work all that i see is the call a tech light and this error code. Have noticed others with similar codes on other konica minoltas and the problem being low fuser teampature. where is the fuser? and how do i fix?
I have a Konica Minolta CSPRO EP1054 (in the Middle East)
I accidentally plugged the EP1054 copier into a 110V outlet instead of
the 220V. Immediately the malfunction code (error code) of "C05"
appeared along with the "Call Tec Rep" indicator light (wrench).
I followed the instructions posted by "Soul Visitor" ... i.e., I found
the "Trouble Reset Switch" (not shown in the user manual) by opening
the upper back panel and pressing the small black button in the lower
right hand corner of the middle circuit board (green).
It worked perfectly!
Appel maintenance 2 konica minolta 164
Fuser is hot section near paper exit, left side, replace fuser assem. to fix,
The fuser "melts toner into paper after printing", fuser runs hot at 180 deg, but yours isnt heating up, hence error, lamp blown, thermister faulty or thermal fuse, these are all parts of a fuser, odd occasions it is board that powers it, but thats rare.
You can Test if old fuser is faulty with meter. lamp and fuse should not be open circuit and thermistor shouldn't be totally open nor shorted.
You two maybe intereseted in another post by a Konica Tec.
